Wir gingen hin für ein kleines Abendessen in das schön gelegene Reataurant. Die Bedienung im schönen Garten war sehr freundlich. Es hat alles ein bisschen lange gedauert, aber wir hatten ja Urlaub. Das Essen war sehr gut und den Preis wert.

Nous avons profité de l'hotel et du restauirant et avons été enchantés par l'accueil, souriant et professionnel, par l'ambiance de la salle de restaurant, moderne, lumineuse et confortable. les menus proposés sont variés, il y en a pour tous les gouts; un menu entrée, 2 plats (pour les gros appétits), dessert vous est même proposé. les vins sont d'un excellent rapport qualité/ prix, proposés au verre, en demies bouteilles et bouteilles, le vignoble de l'yonne y est largement représenté. les jeunes serveurs sont discrets, efficaces . Après avoir échangé quelques mots avec la propriétaire des lieux, nous avons senti une atmosphère familiale et le plaisir du travail en équipe. Nous reviendrons, c'est sûr.

One of just a few hotels and restaurants in town. Skipped the dinner, but had breakfast. 16€ and just fair at best. No omelets, and actually no chef on duty. Coca Cola was €6.80! ***. Charged us €20 cleaning fee for a red wine spill. Beware the extra charges!

Très belle chambre et une grande salle de bain. Repas excellent ! En revanche, le petit déjeuner est décevant par rapport au prix. Nous avons quitté les lieux un peu frustré... Dommage. Il faut penser à revoir cette prestation. Le buffet est mal présenté et l'offre insuffisante.

Nous avons réservé le séjour privilège avec 2 nuits. Un bien : pour la coupe de champagne et le service en salle. L’accueil est y est froid. Le personnel de ménage est bruyant tôt le matin sans politesse. L’emplacement est idéal face à la côte st Jacques. La culture client est absente.

Enjoyable stay with good food and local produce. Very nice location by the river and easy driving access. We had an excellent lunch and easy check in. Friendly waitstaff and great lunch and dinner menus were a winner!

The rooms are large and airy. Bed not comfortable. The en suite loo is in a tiny room with no window and no extractor fan - not ideal. The reception staff are friendly but you really need to be able to speak French in this hotel. It is in a lovely location, with many rooms overlooking the river Yonne. The food is good but quite fancy French. The buffet breakfast quite disappointing and most of the restaurant staff look either bad tempered or not very happy, and at breakfast we felt they couldn't wait for us to finish and get out! We have been there several times before, when we have been on our way from Northern to Southern France - quite out of the way, but fun. However, this time we feel we will not return.
