Johor Bahru Hotels with Airport Shuttle

"We headed to R&F link bridge from CIQ-City Square mall right after we were informed check-in is available around 2pm+.  We were quite disappointed with the long walk with breakage of the link bridge due to RTS construction works ongoing. The long climbs of stairs down then up to the continuation link bridge is rather a hassle especially for guest who carries luggage as we have seen along the way. Luckily we only carried light backpack as we only stay for one night. The procedure of checking in to R&F Princess Cove is rather simple by following a step-by-step instruction via WhatsApp. The unit assigned to us is at B1-1 Block on the 33rd floor. It was right after the rain stopped when we reached. There is a broken-handle window along the corridor hence not properly closed.  The heavy rain has actually poured onto the corridor flooring and we almost slipped as we didn’t see the patch of water. The unit assigned to us was according to our request (away from lift, non-smoking & high floor).  The unit we should say, is well maintained, clean and really nice!!! The only flaw is that the seaview is not as expected (only a slant opening seaview perhaps). The only bedroom ceiling light cum fan is great. However, the bedroom entrance downlight electrical point is tied to the ceiling light cum fan which the entrance downlight can’t be switched off when the fan is in operation during sleep….anyway, we turned on the aircon thereafter in order not to be affected by the glaring bedroom entrance downlight. Even there are 2 pillows each, they are rather too soft and we couldn’t sleep well.  Apart from the above, we enjoyed very much at the Living and Kitchen areas where we watched TV drama & having our meals. The next morning while heading out to walk around the premises, a pale stale stink smell from the rubbish chute on our level can be smelt while waiting for the lift to go down…… The exterior environment of R&F Princess Cove (phase 2) is comfortable especially on the 8th floor where gardens, swimming pool, gym, viewing deck, jogging track and link bridge to R&F mall are resided. One thing to praise is that R&F Princess Cove has friendly, nice security guards and staffs who have communicated via WhatsApp, thumbsup!  Overall we think it is good to stay provided the CIQ to R&F Princess Cove link bridge is complete."

"We travel with a family of 6 (with 2 below 6 years old) & took the family room. The room was rather cram but it’s ok for just a 1 night stay. We were greeted with a flight of stairs before reaching the reception. Check in process was smooth and fast. I will list the Pros and Cons of the hotel below. Hope it helps! Pros - Good wifi signal - Location: just beside bubble tea shop, along it are massage parlor (good ones!), hair salon and established bakeries. Easy to get to Mid Valley, KSL, Pelangi mall etc via grab. The location of the hotel is quite centralised. - The staffs don’t look their part, but they seemed approachable. - Water dispenser available Cons - No toilet paper - Leaking bidet - No water heater - Experienced an hour of blackout (no aircon/lights) at midnight and hear commotion outside so it’s not “noise proof” Come back? Maybe not."

"I am a solo biker doing shift work in the next country so I book resorts and suites on the weekends, Le Grandeur stands out as my favorite location in Johor because it is very exclusive location and away from the crowds. Because it is situated in nature the resort has a very temperate climate, on my day of arrival it was foggy after the rain and it really felt cooler than Cameron Highlands using natural ventilation. You will barely need the air con in the room and just set it 30 degrees and maximum fan for circulation will do. The service standards are very high, polite and efficient to all nationalities of guests and feel very welcome when the front desk agents understand I want to be a little cautious and quiet around people. I will definitely be back for more staycations!"

"Room aircon not working. Assured change of room next day only but given evening only n Duty Mngr Ivan was extremely cold. We were given complimentary 2 days breakfast which was not satisfactory. Coffee machine was giving out Americano rather watery n we informed the staff tat n they didn’t take any action. We also realised this hotel automatically controls de aircon to higher temperature after 7pm each night leaving our room warm. Both nights were a disaster. Aircon vent is dusty as it aggravated my asthma. They charged us to upgrade to Kings room as only a king room and a double room can have interconnected rooms. This could be detailed in Trip.com we would have not booked this hotel. Feel ripped off after not getting a proper test nor sleep. If nothing is done to compensate my stay, I will put this up in social media."

"Stayed in family suite with 1 king and 1 queen. Enough for 4 adults. Location is great.nwalking distance to a lot of food, KTV and massage."

"It was a memorable and enjoyable stay for us, and given the location of the hotel, it was so convenient! Right next to zenith, crossing the road would lead you to komtar and city square. Food and shopping within minutes. Hotel staff are very polite, and amenities such as the gym (very spacious and well equipped) were well maintained. Mattresses were soft and comfortable as well. Would recommend this hotel for couples looking for a quick getaway. Too bad I didn’t take many photos as I was busy enjoying myself. Attach photos are of the club lounge and view of street."

"The interior is nice but the location is a bit far from the main road. During my visit, the lift elevator was not working so we have to take the stairs to bring our luggage to our room. Else, the room is well maintained, the facilities are great especially for golfers."

"Stayed for a night here due to car workshop in the nearby area to avoid Weekend custom jam. Decent hotel for a night stay, However shower drain clog. Causing a flood in the bathroom during shower. Water heater doesn’t seem to be working well. Mostly cold water all the way. Bedsheet / Pillow there is a smelly smell. Minor stain here and there. With the price paid, can’t seem to expect much. Plus point, hotel parking."
