My daughter had to cancel her wedding this December due to a emergency surgery contacted hotel to be told no deposit would be refunded even although no food bought no staff drafted in I was initially told there would be a cancellation fee of a further 900 pound which they eventually wafered so where is the compassion in this circumstances apparently directors were contacted i thought as a goodwill gesture on this occasion my daughter would have got some of her £1130 refunded we sent in hospital verification so be warned from a very disappointed mum 18 week notice shocking .

Well, first of all, the hotel and the grounds were spectacular !! Big shout-out to Emma in Reception...she was so friendly, knowledgeable and went out of her way to make sure we had everything we needed. Eva in the Restaurant was wonderful, friendly and very attentive. There was a wedding that was going to take place on that Saturday and what a highlight for us as we were able to watch the bag pipe player that was performing before the ceremony. I do a lot of walking each day and the area was perfect, as was the walk into the little town square.

Wir waren leider nur für eine Nacht im Lynnhurst und hatten eine Cashmere Suite gebucht. Die Suite ist wunderschön, riisies Bett, grosses Bad und Dusche. Der Empfang war sehr herzlich und es wurde alles zu unserer Zufriedenheit erledigt :-).. Danke an die Reception und den Nachtportier !

I stayed for one night midweek with my mum who is in a wheelchair. Debbie on reception allocated us their accessible room which is amazing. The room is full of period features and is huge. A beautiful room. Breakfast was nice and served in their beautifully decorated restaurant. The grounds are something else! Stunning. The only negative was that the bed in the accessible room is a double and would have been more practical if it were twin beds. The mattress on the bed is very firm and did not suit my mum due to her physical condition. This was the only negative comment and would not impact most people booking this room. My comments on checking out were that if I were ever to get married, this hotel would be top of my list!!

My partner Scott and I got married at the Lynnhurst on Saturday 19th of July. 5 stars really arnt enough to explain how amazing the venue was. Firstly, every member of staff were amazing. Nothing was too much to ask. Special mention to Deborah & Emma on reception. Who helped us out so much. Emma kept the boys in check the morning of the wedding which was defo needed haha! Eilidh, who was in charge on the big day was also amazing. So attentive throughout the whole day. We used the DJ supplied by the venue & all our guests commented on how amazing he was. The food was amazing, with loads of guests commenting that it was the best wedding food they had ever had. The day went so smooth and we were both made to feel so special. The rooms were lovely & every guest commented on how good a sleep they had. Breakfast the next day was lovely too! We really can’t thank everyone at the Lynnhurst enough. You all made our 2 years of planning so so worth it ! Xx

About what I expected for the cost vg location and friendly staff. Breakfast for £6was good value with a decent choice The place is obviously an old building and like the majority of.the buildings.along the fro t in blackpool it could do with a bit of TLC but.all in all if you have never stayed there definitely worth considering

Lovely hotel in a quiet residential area, rooms were spacious and very comfortable. We had a buffet breakfast each morning with plenty choice, also had a lovely meal at the restaurant in the evening, some tasty dishes. The gardens around the hotel are beautiful and well kept, lots of outdoor seating to enjoy.

Weather was great so took the family for lunch. Sat outside and were only aloud to order from the garden menu which is strange Ordered 9 plates and waited an hour. When asked what the hold up was we were told they were getting plated. 15 minutes later they arrived and some of the dishes were stone cold. Overpriced garbage Stay away from the garden menu
