Paper-thin walls. Could clearly hear next room conversations. Would recommend a 2nd floor as I can hear all footsteps and moving around above me. Perhaps I just got a bad room but Room 107 - very musty and a bit moldy smell as actually built into the hill, under the ground level. The second floor in the back meets the parking lot. Now this may be an attraction, but I'm an engineer and not superstitious but I swear 3x something moved in my peripheral vision - something not there in the real world. The first time I spent in a hotel room I was pretty sure it is *******... cute neighborhood. Not sure I'd really be back...

The Inn at the Mill is a beautiful, historic property. The pond, fed by a small waterfall is a peaceful, idyllic place to kick back in a comfy Adirondack chair. Staff were so friendly and welcoming. Our room was charming. The bed and pillows were so comfy. Breakfast was above and beyond what we normally see at hotels. We loved it so much, we stayed an extra night.

When I checked in the toilet was not working, fixed it myself as there was no maintenance. The telephone never did work. The evening staff was not helpful.
The breakfast was nice and morning staff was helpful.

This is a hotel that will go down in your beautiful memories. The room is a little on the small side, but so tastefully furnished and comfortable. Everything about it from the bedding to the loveseat to the china at breakfast is upscale. The coffee and quiche Lorraine at breakfast were delicious. The location is perfect, right off of Interstate 49, less than 20 minutes from Crystal Bridges American Art Museum, and down the road from Wrights BBQ, both of which you don’t want to miss. The hotel staff are so friendly and helpful, they make you feel at home. Ask for the “water room” and you’ll be able to hear the gurgle of the water feature in the patio area.

The staff was some of the kindest I've come across in my travels. The building was older, but completely clean and have all of the amenities you would look for. Absolutely beautiful property.

It is very charming and historic. There are a few fabulous places to eat nearby and a convenient gas station across the street. Although it’s a distance from Fayetteville and the university it’s really easy to hop on the highway and be there in minutes. A wonderful free breakfast.
