We hosted a work meeting in the Birch Room at the DoubleTree. Penny and Cis, who worked the event, were WONDERFUL and made sure every single one of our needs were met. They were so kind and so helpful. Cannot say enough nice things! Also, the manager on duty, Alex was amazing as well. If you’re looking for a great place to host a business function, I HIGHLY recommend working with the AMAZING team working at the DoubleTree in Johnson City!

As a Hilton diamond member, I was sadly disappointed in the hotel. The people were nice enough, but good God, can you please update the place? There were numerous stains on the ceiling in the room & bathroom, carpet was pretty bare, just a generally worn out appearance throughout the hotel. And if you are taller than 5’10” or so, you will have to duck under the shower head to get your head wet. Not remotely close to what we expect from the Hilton name.

The pool was closed “for maintenance” for most of my visit. No one was actively working in the pool area during that time. When it did open, it was very cold and the solarium windows were open.
Breakfast was overpriced and the room was too. The staff were friendly but I would not stay here again.

First, let me say, the staff here works hard and they are great. But, I genuinely do not know how this hotel has remained in the Hilton portfolio. At what point does Hilton drop them for being below standards? I have been staying at the hotel for over 20 years, and during that time, the rooms have not been updated once. I stayed here for the last time in March 2025 and ended up leaving and moving hotels because of how poor the room conditions are. Dark, molded, old mattresses, etc. I REALLY want to like this hotel, but until they remodel I absolutely WOULD NOT stay here. Please remodel…I will be back and about to the rooftops for others to come as well.

Wonderful staff and hotel. When I walked in, Abigail told me my honors bag and fan were already set up in my room. I've been coming here several months on weekly trips and never once have I had a bad experience. Andrea the weekend bartender and Julia the bartender tonight were wonderful.
