Previous reviews were good so we gave dreamers a try. This is an old mom and pop motel. It was old but clean and everything worked. Nice size room, We walked to a local restaurant which was good. Internet was no good. I don't think that it was a bargain.

Friendly staff, dated hotel.
The front desk staff person was friendly. The room was clean and very dated. The bed was hard and uncomfortable. It made a loud noise when you sat down on it. There are not many hotel options in John Day. I might try one of the other ones.

Nice large room in an older motel. The room was very cold when we first got there but it warmed up after several hours.

Room worked for a quick overnight. Clean enough but very dated and somewhat noisy.
No breakfast or morning coffee in the lobby. Close dnough to places to eat.
