Whenever I am in RSA,I stay at DaVinci. The hotel is conveniently located and have beautiful guest rooms.

I stayed for 7 nights and there was not a single day that I did not have to call housekeeping or be passed to some other dept about missing amenities, towels, etc or laundry not returned. Very poorly trained service levels and responses. Also was asked to pay for additional drinking water or told I have to go buy it at the grocery store (on a business trip!!) and worst of all was asked to pay for additional milk pods for tea & coffee in the room, The only give 2 pods! Laundry not returned till I go to reception to pay for it even though I left deposit on credit card upon check in. Al very duisorganised.

We stayed 3 nights at the DaVinci on Mandela Square. To our surprise the hotel was much more upscale than we had anticipated. The room was good size, very clean with free bottled water and a really comfortable bed. There is a restaurant onsite which we enjoyed a buffet breakfast each morning. Every staff member we came into contact with were outstanding. The hotel is in the middle of Mandela Square which has 2 large shopping malls and a number of good restaurants on site. The courtyard area at night is lit up and all of the restaurants have indoor and outdoor seating. There was lots of security present and always felt very safe. We would definitely stay at the DaVinci again

Visited in October to attend a F1 showrun event. Cannot fault anything in the hotel. Services are excellent and hotel is managed very well.

Great location. Close to mall, several excellent restaurants, Nelson Mandela Square. Beautifully appointed modern clean rooms with very comfortable beds and pillows. Helpful staff. Very safe location. Very nice full breakfast. Would stay again.

Great reception from the team.Clean Gym.very tasty and fresh breakfast from the hotel. Not forgetting the juiciest Oxtail Meal ever. Very comfortable and most fluffiest pillows ever. Therapeutic and very satisfying Services from the staff.

This is definitely NOT a five star hotel or anywhere near one. Let's start with the most important thing - what's the main purpose of a hotel? It's to sleep. Good luck with that here. I was woken up 8 times in one night because anytime any door closed in the hallway near my room, it sounded like a gunshot in my room. The king bed is also two twin beds pushed together which basically means it's an uncomfortable twin. Definitely do not stay here if you are expecting a five star experience (or to sleep).
