The living environment is quite good. The owner of the manor planted a lot of fruits and enthusiastically let them pick and eat them. It was a great experience! When I woke up in the morning, there were hares and various birds in the yard. Nearby was a beach where local residents often played, and wild kangaroos could be seen on the roadside. My husband and I decided to return to the Boomerangs after many many years as a last minute getaway from the stresses of day to day life. It was just as perfect as it was all those years ago. From being greeted by Mark on arrival, who is very easy to talk to, and then walking into the cabin to find the heating was on and relaxing music was playing which made us feel very welcome and at home. After a glass of wine and nibbles in front of the log fire, we cooked dinner on the BBQ on the balcony. The views are beautiful. We find winter is the best time to stay because it is so warm and cosy. We will definitely stay again.

We liked the lodge with two sleeping rooms and the big living room incl pantry kitchen. Washing machine available and nice terrace. Owners have two dogs (border collies) - so cute! We will definitely come back again. Beware: they serve no breakfast. You need to go either to a roadhouse approx 9 km up great ocean road or go shopping in Apollo Bay.

Amazing location just 10 minutes drive from Johanna Beach, with picturesque scenery and great vibes. Blue the Customer Relations trainee also provided an excellent welcome.
