Thank you so much for letting us encounter the Australian countryside in the best way possible. The three dogs and other friendly animals were truly the highlight of the farmland surrounding our cabin (which had amazing facilities and resources at our disposable. We found the numerous guidebooks in our room extremely helpful: leading us to extraordinary restaurants such as The Perch, informing us about the native wildlife species and leading us to enthralling locations nearby the farm. Once again, thank you for making our trip here the most memorable experience. Written by our daughter, Amelia (13yo).

This place is located in the countryside near the Great Otway National Park and Great Ocean Road and Walk about 50 minutes west of Apollo Bay and 2.5 hours west of Melbourne by car. There are several self contained cottages on this farm retreat. The hosts , both human and animal , are very warm and friendly. You must bring in your own food and supplies for your stay though there is a decent restaurant 10 minutes drive. There are seasonal items in the garden and groves that are shared. The beds and washrooms were good with good hot water available. There is a washing machine in the unit and a clothesline. A full kitchen and dining area were well stocked. The view to the ocean is stunning and you can here the calls of many animals in the area. This would also be good for a family.

Es ist ein einmaliges Erlebnis uf der Farm von Helen und Julian zu übernachten. Unsere Kinder 3 und 2 jahre alt haben es sehr genossen die Tiere zu füttern und die Natur zu erkunden. Die Unterkunft war sauber, grosszügig und charmant. Auf jedenfall weiterzuempfehlen. Danke für eure herzliche Gastfreundschaft!
