I was greeted by Gopal like a guest into his home. The hotel is beautiful and the staff are a delight to deal with. The dining room is gorgeous and part of the welcome included a brief history of the building from its homestead days to its transition to a welcoming hotel in relatively recent times. The grounds are beautifully maintained and there's a real sense of peace here within the busyness of Jodhpur. There are multiple places to sit around outside to read or rest. My room was stunning and beautifully presented. Do check about how to turn the hot water on an off: it needs 20 minutes to warm up, so plan for this. I had dinner and breakfast in the restaurant. The restaurant manager (Ragu, I think?) was the perfect host and the meals were delicious. The breakfast options were extensive; I felt quite spoiled for choice! :-) I only stayed one night... but I really felt while I was there that I had arrived home. I will definitely stay here again when I am next in Jodhpur.

Location of the hotel is good. Walking distance from the Railway Station and about 5 km.away from the Jodhpur Airport. Prominent tourist places are in close proximity. Very well maintained hotel. Stayed for three nights. Very cooperative staff. Food quality is excellent. Would like to stay in Kalinga Hotel should I get to visit Jodhpur again.

We are 3 friends traveling India 6th time. And choosing this place in Jodhpur for 2 night stay was like the gift we received. The location, the house, the decorations, the food..everything was perfect. But the most and main gem of this hotel are people working here, everyone was so friendly and welcoming, we felt like between good friends. Want to say special Thank you to ***ager Mayank whose advises about places to visit, to eat, to shop were very very valuable. He also helped us to solve pretty serious problem we had that time with some traveling issues. We suggest this place for anyone who want to expierence the hotel with beautiful mood.

Hotel Ajit ***sion is a little more outside of Jodhpur, making it a quiet location in my eyes. The disadvantage is that the attractions are a little further away, making you a 15-minute travel to reach. The hotel has been very friendly and the food was very good and the staff was very friendly. In addition, many drinks and recipes were not available on the menu because it was not on stock. In short, it was a pleasant stay, which I recommend to every tourist. Furthermore, there are a number of improvements for the hotel.

Having stayed at over 14 Zostels across India, this has been one of the worst experiences in terms of service. The staff here are highly commercial, prioritizing upselling value-added services over genuine hospitality—this applies to both the reception and café teams. In particular, the receptionist with a moustache (whose name I can’t recall) clearly lacks the training required for the hospitality industry. A notable instance was when a guest requested a room change due to excessive noise from the first-floor rooms caused by the staff’s constant shouting. Instead of addressing the issue with courtesy or instructing the staff to be mindful, the receptionist dismissively replied, “Sound toh aega.” This lack of empathy and professionalism reflects poorly on the Zostel brand. Unfortunately, this has been my worst experience with Zostel staff and service to date. And before my stay at Zostel clock tower, I stayed at Zostel Ratanada and the staff behavior and support was top class

DO NOT BOOK THIS HOTEL. WORST EVER EXPERIENCE WITH STAFF & MANAGEMENT of this HOTEL. I had booked two Superior Class Rooms in this Hotel for my family(incl. Sr. Citizen Parents, 1.5 and 5 year old kids) through Goibibo website on 9th Nov, 2023 and got booking confirmation on same day. Duration of Stay was between 28th & 29th Nov. I was travelling from Jaipur to Jodhpur on 28th Nov and I called to this Hotel at around 12:30 PM to inform that I am travelling and will check in late evening and the receptionist said OK. We reached at Hotel Reception around 8:30 PM in and told receptionist about my booking, he said rooms will be ready in 10 minutes and asked us to wait. After few minutes, another staff member came there and he informed us that due to some electricity issue rooms are not available at their Hotel and they have made rooms available at another Hotel(Named as Megh Niwas or Clarks Inn) which is 1 to 1.5 km away. We then moved to that Hotel with Staff but noticed that Hotel was located in very small lanes and which was 3 km away and not on highway location like City Square. The Manager of Citi Square By Keymagic Hotel was already present at that other Hotel. He told us that due to some Technical Issues they are shifting all their guest to this Hotel which is Heritage Property and Rooms are of similar or higher category than those booked by me in their Hotel. After looking at the rooms in this Hotel, I felt that we are cheated by Staffs of City Square. Rooms were not cleaned, there was no ventilation inside room, some kind of bad smell was coming from rooms as it seems those were NOT Cleaned for several months.(See the attached photos clicked in Bathrooms) I told Manager of Hotel City Square that we did not like rooms and we want rooms in their Hotel itself. He denied saying he can not give rooms in City Square as no room available there and can not help us. It was around 9:45 pm in clock and I then called customer care of Goibibo to informed them hardships faced by me and my family. I informed Goibibo representative that Staff Members of Hotel City Square lied with me several times and did not keep their commitments towards customer. I asked the representative to contact manager of Hotel and request to make room available at City Square only but again Manager did not agree. Then I told Goibibo representative that I can stay in Hotel Megh Niwas on condition that Hotel City Square should refund 50% of amount paid by me as compensation because quality of rooms in that Hotel was below average. But this proposal was also rejected by Manager of the City Square. As I was with family and kids and it was already 10:30 pm I did not want to do follow up more and hence told Goibibo that I will check in Hotel Megh Niwas. I moved towards reception area of the Hotel for check in & suddenly Manager of City Square told me that I CAN'T CHECK-IN now as my booking has been cancelled by them. I was shocked to hear it. Great location near the old city - a quiet reprieve of the bustling chaos! the building is historical and beautifully kept. The staff are so kind and attentive and do an amazing job to make your stay comfortable. The restaurant is well worth the visit as the breakfasts (pancakes especially) are delicious and the dinners are wonderful. The rooms are modern and spacious and suprisingly quiet (road noise does not really get through. I would definitely recommend others to stay here and would stay here again if i ever returned! thanks again to the staff - we loved our stay!

This is the second time I have enjoyed staying at Jee Ri Haveli. Hi***shu and his family were lovely hosts. The Haveli is outside of the old town but the views of the fort from the rooms and rooftop restaurant are spectacular. You are within easy walking distance of everything including the excellent Sardar Market. The rooms are comfortable but not ***y luxuries but this doesn't matter as the beds are comfortable and hot water in the shower!! The food in the restaurant is excellent as well accompanied by the aforementioned view - see photo . They can arrange cars etc for arrival and departure if needed. Hi***shu took us on a wonderful walk through the old town - the blue city- and took us to visit the Jaswant Thada mausoleum and the superb Mehrangarh Fort. We really enjoyed this as he took us to places we never would have discovered on our own , we saw some wonderful murals and we ate the most delicious local sweets and found out the next day we made the local paper! Highly recommended and I would very happily stay here again.
