Umaid Bhawan Palace Jodhpur

I was very thrilled when I booked Umaid Bhavan palace and the experience turned out to be nothing less than marvellous fabulous (short of words) Every minute detail has been taken care of From arrival to departure. My younger one Tej still plays with the soft toys (memories - squirrel and peacock) Further celebrating special occasion so royally (cake cutting with sword was just unimaginable) Would like to mention some of the staff at Umaid Bhavan who went beyond their duty and made guests comfortable (unfortunately don’t remember all of them but some are) Ishpreet did amazing work all through our stay Chand decorated our room for the special occasion very well Sikander ji the veteran of the palace was hospitable as ever Staff in restaurant too Karan Sadique sequel Jabar and all others whoever were at our service (sorry to have missed the names) Chef Shobhit and Vikram made baby food so well that we will now have difficult matching same taste back home 😂 Session - heritage tour, Yoga, cookie making (first time tried our hands at baking) , cocktail making were all interesting and nice Also the instructors in outdoor pool area Sarvanji made our trip memorable (swimming alongside peacocks) - capturing the same Guy playing flute in the mornings during breakfast was very good to listen to. Every individual staff from staff at reception to gates to person carrying luggage to house keeping to person operating the elevator - all did their jobs perfectly and gave us an experience which I feel no other hotel would be able to match Have stayed at various Taj properties but Umaid Bhavan is just the epitome of hospitality that the group has to offer

They made us feel like royalty from the very outset. On top of that, they went more than out of their way to ensure that our stay was not only comfortable but that we felt that we were in our home away from home. The food was awesome and the way they made us eat with traditional hospitality and warmth can only be experienced and not described. And to top it all, it was not just one or two people, but the entire team at the Palace was on their toes all the time to ensure that we had one of the best weekends ever. Will give them 20 out of 10 if I could. I will have to call out Hukum, Ishpreet, Swaroop Singh ji for their above par service. But I have to insist that these are only the names I remember. The entire team is just fantastic!

We had a beautiful experience, thanks to the associates. Upon arrival, we were welcomed by the DM Mr. Sangram Singh and his team, who ensured a smooth check in process for us. Everything was outstanding and we had a lovely meal curated by the chef on duty who interacted with us during the meal, and the F&B team who ensured a flawless experience with their amazing, personalized service. Mr. Sikander Bhati also gave us a full overview of the palace and its wonderful history. Overall, we had a delightful experience at Umaid Bhawan Palace that we would love to recreate again.

It was very nice experience staying there. Palace was very beautiful and clean. Palace staff were very supportive and specifically female staff ish and raj were so friendly with kids that kids are still missing both of them. There are lots of activities also to keep kids engaged like cookies making, kite flying, feather hunt, treasure hunt . Food was also good. Overall it was very nice staying there.

We have been around the world but have never experienced this kind of warmth and hospitality. Each and every staff member is welcoming and caring… it’s an experience one must have once . Parkhee Mandhar has been an excellent support throughout our stay!

An absolutely amazing palace with breathtaking architecture and a rich sense of history. The entire experience was made even more special by the wonderful people there, especially Ms. Parkhee, who gave us a superb, detailed, and engaging tour of the palace.
