Just returned from a dream stay at Umaid Bhavan Palace, Jodhpur. With the grand musical welcome, we were treated like royalty. The enchanting palace tour with the lovely Parkhee provided the rich heritage of the palace. High tea experience with ginger/mint tea we requested ***** with delectable treats and gracious service was just too good. Dinner at Rasala was tailored to meet our dietary and allergy needs and truly a royal experience. Many thanks to Mahavir, Saddique & team. Huge thanks to everyone—Parkhee, Aniket, Mahavir, Saddique, Narendra, Raval, Shashank, Mehardin, Gaurav, Pepsingh—for crafting memories that’ll last a lifetime. Our stay at Umed Bhavan and the city of Jodhpur was the top highlight of our 2 week Jodhpur road trip.

Wah Taj !! What an experience !! So Royal ... and it is supposed to be.. So happy to stay at The Umaid Bhawan Palace, Jodhpur - one of the largest private residences in the world and one of India's grandest palaces where the Royal familg of Jodhpur still lives. Yes, the king, queen and their family, and few guests of Taj live in the hotel part of the Umaid Bhawan as managed by Taj. We were given a royal treatment with a stay in Royal Palace room, with huge bedroom and washrooms made of white marble. Aniket and Harsh from Front office helped us get to the room and explained us in detail about all the planned events at hotel. Our room was well decorated with balloons and card as we were there to celebrate our kids birthday and that made the kids very happy. Our room boy - Berishal got us in room whatever we needed. There were so many activities which were once in a lifetime experience - Palace tour by Mr. Sikandar, showcasing all the museum and palace history and a collection of vintage cars including Rolls Royce, Buick, Cadalac and mercedes etc.. Each having its own legacy. Mr. Sikandar was very helpful in everything and his presence made our stay special and comfortable. Special thanks to him. We went for Kite flying activity on the evening of checkin  and it was an amazing experience. I forgot the name of security person that day but he ***** with Ramniwas took lot of our pictures and were very welcoming. Cookie making session with cookie chef Ritvika, was so wonderful and kids had a great learning experience. We got the cookies as well and were very delicious. In the evening, Mr. swaroop called us in Regal room as per plan from Harsh and celebrated the kids birthday with surprise Safa ( Turban) ceremony and cake cutting by sword. Wow.. Another .. once in a lifetime experience. Mr. Swaroop made our stay memorable for ever, special thanks to him.  Next day - we went to wellness centre - indoor and outdoor pools, Jacuzzi, Steam and Sauna are very good. Sarwan and Vikram helped us. Before checkout, we were taken behind the palace by Mr. Sajjan to take beautiful garden pictures. Thanks a lot and best experience of lifetime - peacock dancing with all feathers open for continuous 15 mins. Few things money can't buy. During the stay, we visited Risala restaurant multiple times - for lunch, Hi-Tea, breakfast, dinner and even got the food packed for travelling back. Risala is now one of our favourite restaurants. Special thanks to Chef Shobhit, Karan, Yash, Manisha, Saddique, Kapil and Rupesh. Chef Shobhit made so many delicacies for us and got us whatever we needed. Parathas with white butter were awesome. We visited Umaid Bhawan Palace to celebrate my sister's birthday, and it was one of the best experiences ever. A fantastic welcome to start with, thanks to Aniket. Exploring every bit of the grand property and enriching oneself with the historical know how - thanks to Sikander for walking us through every detail. Capturing every moment with his amazing photographic skills - a special mention for Sajaan. Cuisine at its best, utmost care to ensure dietary preferences are met- a big thank you to Chef Shobhit, Chef Gaurav and Chef Pushpendra. Servicing at its all time best at the restaurant - huge call out for your servicing stars - Kapil, Suivile, Sidaqquie and Mahavir. Two other servicing gems who took our experience to a totally different level : Raval and Manisha- each moment at the restaurant was one to cherish, thank you to both of them. The birthday celebration at the restaurant made the day even more special for us. Add on to it, the birthday celebration in the room- was the cherry on the cake- just amazing- an acknowledgement for Surendra who was instrumental for the wonderful experience. Not too forget Chandrashekhar for the wonderful birthday decoration. It's a first wherein each and every member of the palace we interacted with added to our joy and made our experience memorable. The palace is fantastic, grand but the servicing offered takes it to a totally different level. Great job to the entire team. Kudos!!

I have only one word to describe the stay: UNBELIEVABLE. Truly, it’s a dream come true. I stayed in the grand royal suite with my grandfather and we genuinely had a blast. From the service to the dining, and the amenities to the room itself: everything was just perfect and did not even feel real. The best part of the stay is the staff. The most caring people I have ever met, ever! I short handed a list of staff who I thought were the BEST in what they do and who really stood out to me and who really genuinely took care of us, they all deserve so much more than just a good review! First, to our host Malvika thank you for your warm welcome and for taking care of any of our needs during the stay. Your attentiveness and attention to detail are on point! Your kind and loving attitude enhanced the stay! Ishipreet, while I didn’t get to interact with her too much was also much like Malvika - amazing at heart and service! Ishipreet also helped me plan out one of my days in Jodhpur and it was a blast! Next, our palace tour guide Srikander. Full of knowledge, he has taken us all throughout the palace to explore its rich history and significance. Srikander was more than just a tour guide - he was there for us whenever we needed. His humble and caring professionalism meant everything for us. He was ready with answers to all of our questions and would always be smiling. Srikander is the definition of what it means to be professional and provide a home-like feel, he is an inspiration in of itself. Manisha (from the restaurant) was another staff member who stood out to me! Rather than just serving our food, Manisha got to know us personally, which truly felt like we were eating with family. Her passion for service has not gone unnoticed! Manisha really knows how to engage with the guests, making them feel special and loved especially during meal times. Manisha is always smiling regardless of how special our orders were and always came to check on us. We got to know her and she got to know us which made everything even better! Chef Gourav and Chef Shobhit are fantastic chefs! Every dinner we had custom made meals and, let me tell you, they went beyond expectations each time! They make regular rounds throughout the restaurant to check on our guests, which made us feel more comfortable that the chefs are actually making food out of love for their guests, which really shines through their dishes they make. Chef Anushka was also amazing! She was our chef who guided us through the cookie making session. Her thorough descriptions actually gave me a better understanding to all the thought that goes into curating dishes, not just cookies. She was kind and very humble with us and made us feel like we are experts! Mahaveer from the restaurant was also amazing. I had a very specific juice order (watermelon juice with basil, mint, and one chili) one of the mornings.
