Amritara Manak Haveli

I had a wedding to attend in jodhpur which is when I decided to extend my stay to explore and experience the rich cultural heritage and a riot of food and fusion of the Blue City! The locals had recommended staying in places that looked like business hotels...nah! Not for me 😆 😂 I wanted a 'haveli' with an intimate experience. And that's exactly what I found, actually overload of it in Manak Haveli. My interior design eye was pleasantly stimulated with the richness of the interiors, the attention to detail and the juxtaposition of colors textures and a fantastic array of collectibles. P.S. my favorite place turned out to be their terrace bar which had great views of Mehrangarh Fort and great food served while sitting in the shade even when it was relatively hot outside. It was a beautiful experience. I bumped into a fun group of Australians who seemed over the top fired up with the pottery workshop, the village tour, the shopping and to my surprise, the food that they couldn't stop Raving about!! Well, What can I say.. This haveli is in the heart of the old city so very close to everything where the real action is.. so that was a PLUS for me. I got a chance to interact with the family.. and I learned that this is a family run business (or passion if I may say) and it's clearly visible in the way they took care of me and my specific needs! This was their own home up until a few years ago and they treat it exactly like that. Lemme know about your experience if you happen to stay there too! Cheers

hospitality is nice - almost customised, approach to the property is poor. We took the maharaja room since we were 5 people. They made fresh food as per order. Also, helped us get autos to commute to the city (yes, cabs can’t get inside those narrow lanes. They have a terrace which has a view of meheangarh fort, but nothing exquisite about the place. Over priced!

Stay was good, the place is nice typically set up as old rajasthan traditional hawelis. The care taker jeet was amazing and super helpful.

The property is exotic. The hospitality & food is wonderful. But then one has to keep in mind it is old town. The lane to the hotel very narrow and congested. Only autorickshaw goes there. 15 minutes inside.

Haveli is located nearby to the clock tower and is centre point to all tourist places. The staff is good. Rooms are very well maintained. Feel like a five star hotel. Must stay for all culture lovers. Would highly recommend.

Mr. Jeetu was a great host, comfy rooms and excellent food. The location is not very accessible because one had to go through three-wheeler, no parking or car can access. The property is clean and well maintained with rustic decor and warm hospitality.

The rooms are great and spacious. Really a steal at the price. Food is also nice. Their rooftop is pretty good to just kickback and enjoy. But the best part is the staff. Courteous, helpful and polite. Only negative is the location in which it is located. Inside the old city, narrow lanes, crowded shops etc etc

Manak Haveli makes you feel like home❤️ It is a blend of luxury and timeless heritage. The food here is just amazing, Rajasthani cuisine to international flavours, it makes me come here again and again! Oh, and the most important part, the stunning view of the Mehrangarh fort from the rooftop is to die for😍😍😍
