The driver said that he used hotels and nursing homes to shelter 192 people for free for two days. After asking, I found out that he was Mr. Wang, the general manager of the hotel😅

You won’t regret staying here. In summary it’s a very nice hotel (quite large actually) that is perfectly located (about 1km walking from the sand dunes (Mingsha mountain and Creacent Moon spring area). Staff is extremely friendly and helpful and the architecture is also really nice. The views from the roof top terrace (breakfast/ coffee spot) are amazing and the breakfast itself is also quite good. The downside that’s also to mention: Price wise it’s a bit expensive especially during holiday season. Rooms are a bit old and you can hear everyone passing by.

The hotel is about 10 minutes' walk from Shazhou Night Market, which is very close. You can feel the passion and romance of Dunhuang nightlife. It is also only 5 minutes' walk to the Bouncing Pipa Statue, where you can take photos and record beautiful moments. It is also close to Mogao Grottoes and Crescent Lake Scenic Area, which is convenient for travel. The breakfast is very rich and worth recommending!
