Overall, my experience during this hotel stay was quite satisfactory. However, one significant issue really detracted from the experience: several open paint cans were left in the guest room hallway, indicating some localized painting work was underway. This caused the entire corridor to be filled with a strong, pungent paint smell that was quite overpowering and made it very difficult to breathe. I hope the hotel will be more mindful of its renovation/maintenance schedule going forward. For instance, they could try to schedule such work during off-peak hours or ensure proper area isolation and ventilation to minimize disruption to guests. Putting this issue aside, the service and facilities were otherwise commendable.

It was my first time to Jiujiang and I was lucky to stay at Yuanzhou Yiting Hotel. The hotel is in a good location, facing Nanhu Lake, with a wide view and pure lake view rooms. The hotel shares the lobby and breakfast with the Sheraton Hotel and enjoys the services of a five-star hotel. From the doorman, the receptionist to the front desk, they are all polite, thoughtful and meticulous. The breakfast ingredients are rich and exquisite. The room is clean, tidy, warm, the bed is comfortable and the bathroom facilities are complete.
