Standing upstairs in the hotel, you can enjoy the Yangtze River! Next to the hotel are Langjing, Yuliang Tower and Guanying Tower. Behind you is Dazhonglou Pedestrian Street. It is also very close to the former site of Jiujiang ** and Gantang Lake, namely Li Gongdi, Yanshui Pavilion, Guanyin Pavilion, and Sixian Bridge, and can be reached on foot or by bus. Overall, my experience during this hotel stay was quite satisfactory. However, one significant issue really detracted from the experience: several open paint cans were left in the guest room hallway, indicating some localized painting work was underway. This caused the entire corridor to be filled with a strong, pungent paint smell that was quite overpowering and made it very difficult to breathe. I hope the hotel will be more mindful of its renovation/maintenance schedule going forward. For instance, they could try to schedule such work during off-peak hours or ensure proper area isolation and ventilation to minimize disruption to guests. Putting this issue aside, the service and facilities were otherwise commendable.

The hotel is located on the edge of Nanhu Lake and has a great location. Shares a lobby with Sheraton. The hotel is newly renovated, the lobby and restaurant are tall and spacious, the rooms are also large and clean, the service staff are particularly friendly and the service is very thoughtful. I booked a river view room, which is a side view, not facing the river. Some with terraces have better views, and the breakfast is quite satisfactory. In general, the hotel is facing the road and lacks a yard. The hardware is good and the service can be more standardized!
