GGuest UserThe inn is located in a village in the Yellow River Stone Forest Scenic Area. This is the first time I have stayed in a real northern farmhouse courtyard. I am very impressed and feel very strong. How much should I give this inn? This is a problem that I have never entangled in making reviews before. Because this stay experience is too polarized, this is also something that has never been before. Let me talk about the bad aspects first. The room is very small, except for one big and one small two beds, a hanger\a stool and a TV cabinet, there is no other furniture, the TV is also an old-fashioned ”fang box” just checked in, the store told me to stop the water immediately, because the water pipe will freeze at night in winter. There is no heating in the room, it may be that the power of the air conditioner is small, and the temperature in the room is always not up. Fortunately, there are electric blankets to continue. Let's talk about the good aspects. On the first afternoon of the stay, the store took the initiative to call, saying that there was not enough hot water this season, and I could not take a bath. It also said that if the scenic spot is over early, you can not live in the local area, it doesn't matter. This is a truthful notification and honest operation! According to the regulations of the scenic spot, self-driving cars can be parked in the parking lot outside the scenic spot, and then take a transportation car to enter the scenic spot, so the store drove to the drop-off point to pick us up. As soon as we arrived at the inn, there were local apples to entertain, and the taste was quite good! Although the room is simple, the bed, floor and bathroom are very clean. Because of the water cut, the store sent boiling water in a warm bottle, and constantly asked ”is enough” cold water bucket, and reminded us that the washing water and the bathroom water are filled with different buckets, don't mix it. In short, the hardware facilities of the inn are relatively simple (it is estimated that the inn in the whole village is generally at this level. The driver of the scenic sightseeing car said: We are the only tourist who stayed that night). If it is a warm season to stay for one or two nights, there is no problem. But winter is really hard. And the store is operating with heart, try to create conditions to make guests feel more comfortable. GGuest UserLooking back on this summer trip (Yinchuan-Alashan-Zhongwei-Jingtai), the most recommended ones are the Alxa Tenggeli Five Lakes Crossing and Jingtai (Yongtai Ancient City, Yellow River Stone Forest). There are too many people in Zhongwei, and the experience is very average. The original plan was to stay in the urban area of Baiyin after visiting the Yellow River Stone Forest, but I decided to stay in a homestay near the Yellow River Stone Forest. Practice has proved that this decision is very correct. I have experienced the most beautiful countryside. Longwan Village is inside the scenic area. You have to park your car in the scenic area parking lot and then buy a ticket (ticket + 68 yuan transportation ticket, the transportation ticket includes the first section of the bus from the entrance of the scenic area on the mountain through 22 bends to Longwan Village at the bottom of the valley, and then take a battery car through Longwan Village and follow the Yellow River to Yinmagou Grand Canyon). The streets of Longwan Village are very clean, with apple trees and jujube trees everywhere, and the people are also very simple. We arrived at the scenic spot at 6 pm that day. Ordinary tourists had basically left. We arrived at the B&B at around 7 pm, and then took a small train for 10 yuan per person (the battery car driven by the villagers dragged a few seats behind, some of which were caterpillar seats, and there were many in the village) to Shenlong Valley. The driver explained the shape of the strange stones to us very carefully. There were only a few of us in a valley, and the experience was full.
There are many B&Bs in Longwan Village. The advantage of this one is that it is right by the Yellow River, and you can experience the feeling of staying overnight by the Yellow River. It is also on the way to the Yinmagou Grand Canyon (waiting for the battery car at the door). The B&B is run by Mr. Liu and his wife and his son. The boss is very kind and enthusiastic. He will drive to the parking lot at the entrance of the scenic spot to help carry the luggage. The B&B has two floors and the rooms are clean. Although there is room for improvement in details, this price is already very cost-effective.
This journey from Ningxia across the province to Yongtai Ancient City and Yellow River Stone Forest in Jingtai, Gansu is definitely worth the trip, and the experience is super good. The roads to Yongtai Ancient City and the Yellow River Stone Forest are super good. I thought there would be a section of gravel road, but I didn't expect the road infrastructure to be much better than many places in Guangdong. I often drove over the speed limit (note that there may be speeding shots on the road from Jingtai County to the Stone Forest). And the key is that there are few people. There are not many people in the Yellow River Stone Forest all morning. There is no need to squeeze in the good location for taking pictures, and there is no need to fight for the bus. I thought Yongtai Ancient City would be very dilapidated, but I didn't expect it to be very clean inside. The government painted the collapsed house mounds, the roads inside were also very clean, the folk customs were very simple, and there was no charge. I strongly recommend it (the last 3 pictures are of Yongtai Ancient City)
