Xishuangbanna Jinghong Jimu River View Hotel is amazing! Located along the riverside, it offers the perfect viewpoint for sunsets and evening views. You can see the bridge across the Mekong River and the buildings on the opposite shore, beautifully lit with colorful lights—a truly breathtaking sight. The hotel is also close to street food vendors and food/fruit shops just below the building. The night market is only a 10-15 minute walk away, making this location ideal. The facilities and services, including A/C, a tea kettle, hair dryer, swimming pool, airport pickup, breakfast, slippers (changed daily!), towels, washing machine (this surprised me!), toothbrush, toothpaste, tissue paper, and more, are excellent—better than other hotels I’ve stayed at. It’s essentially a smart hotel! There’s a Xiaodu AI (like Google Alexa or Siri) to help you manage room functions such as opening/closing curtains, turning lights on/off, and controlling music—it's so innovative! However, it currently only supports Mandarin. The bathroom features an automated toilet with self-flushing, a heated seat, and an automatic bidet. One thing to note is that there is no door or partition between the toilet/bathroom and the bedroom, so it’s an open design. If you’re sharing the room with friends or others you don’t know well, be mindful of this for privacy. The staff here are friendly and helpful, although their English is limited. They do their best to use translation tools, which is appreciated and works fine. Breakfast is served from 8:00 to 10:00, so if you want to enjoy it, an early wake-up is necessary, haha! The food is simple and leans more towards Chinese style rather than Western, with options like noodles, cakes, stir-fried vegetables, soy milk, fresh milk, and watermelon. Overall, I rate this hotel 10/10! The few minor points I mentioned are easy to overlook, and the price is affordable and reasonable. You won’t find another hotel like this anywhere else! Don’t hesitate to make this hotel a memorable part of your trip—you won’t regret it! (I made two bookings for this hotel—so don’t be surprised if you see this review twice!)

This is an objective evaluation, and overall it is very good. First of all, the room arrangement is very good. There are 2 package rooms booked, one is a standard room with a smoking room, and the other is a non-smoking single room. We try to arrange them together as much as possible. At the same time, I met Manager Yi, a young man from Wenjiang. He was very nice. He recommended places to play around and successfully avoided some places. The service provided was very good. I hope he can live a good life in Banna. Finally, the parking lot is now free. The guy who picked me up at the airport was very nice, the car was also a business car, and his attitude was very good ~ What can be improved is: the breakfast can be more diversified. For three consecutive days, there has been no change at all. There are so many fruits in Banna, can't it be richer? The swimming pool is not open, but the Wyndham next door is open. There is also ”Xiaodu Voice Intelligence” in the room, which is okay. There are also some services in Ctrip's package. For example, the mini bar service is only available once, and there are no welcome flowers arranged. It's a bit disappointing. Hope it can be improved later. Also, you can write down the specific differences between each room on the web page. I feel that each room has its own characteristics but it is not shown. I can't help but feel that the rooms are all the same ~ and the prices are different ~ The toiletries are pretty good. I feel good about the toothbrush. There is also a sewing kit, but there is no soap. Auntie kept it quite clean.
