My stay was excellent, Nancy and Matt were friendly, always have s smile a good morning and how did you sleep.....breakfast is always very good.....the rooms are clean....if you don't know what to do they will be able to give you a suggestion of what to do or where to go....

The mangers Nancy and Tom were very nice and friendly. The house is old,but quaint. The room was a nice size and the bathroom was a nice size too. We were able to walk to town but would highly recommend an urber / lift to bring you home as there is a very steep incline back to the house. There are no TVs in the bedrooms , but there is a family room to watch the tv

Older residance. We stayed in the Hampshire Room. Small, cozy. Thankfully we were the only guests for the weekend and could contol the hall thermostat as there was a bed length radiator in room that put off serious heat. Saw on website recently renovated, not sure where. It was a decent place but not clean as I would want. Did not get to meet the couple that manages it for another, but their son was very nice and made great breakfast each morning. There are NO TV's in any of the rooms. They do offer one in the sitting room. I did not care for all the heavy velvet like curtains (6 windows in this small room) and the same on poster bed. Not good for allergies. Dusty and cobwebs. Home offers a view. Did not walk to town from B&B due to rainy weekend. Location not bad though.

My wife and I were gifted a Labor Day weekend getaway by our kids. Lucky for us, they picked Hillcrest for our stay. The town is great, but what made our stay even better was how welcoming our host Tom and Nancy were. They made it easy to feel at home and unwind from our busy life style. Breakfast was just delightful. We would absolutely recommend this B&B experience to our friends. Jeff & Anna

Nancy and Tom, the hosts, make you feel right at home! Nancy suggested that we go to a concert at Penn's Peak that night and called to see if tickets were available. And they were! Their son made breakfast for us and one other really nice couple staying the same weekend. Just want to mention that our room did not have a TV if that is important to you. Our room was very clean. The outside of the Inn could use a little "sprucing up", in my opinion. Otherwise, it is a nice place to stay.
