Huanman Hotel (Jieyang Ancient City Jinxian Branch) Reviews

The hotel is about 1.5 km from Jieyang Confucian Temple. The room was acceptably clean, not large but tidy. Parking is available right outside. The laundry room, elevator, and gym need some hardware upgrades.

I traveled to 揭阳 specifically to watch 给阿嬷的情书 right before the movie left theaters, and stumbled upon Nice欢曼酒店 on Trip.Com. The room rates are incredibly affordable, matching the quality of well-known domestic Chinese hotel chains including Hanting, Atour and Vienna. Every corner of the room is spotlessly clean, with all amenities fully functional and well-maintained. My accommodation was incredibly comfortable and cozy overall. Excellent value for money! I’d highly recommend staying here.

The room was spacious and very clean, with an excellent view facing Donghu Park. The environment felt homely, and there were some snack shops nearby. It's also not too far from the ancient city. While the professionalism and attentiveness of the service could be improved, it's a hotel with very good value for money.

The room was very clean, and the service attitude was what we appreciated the most. The front desk lady was incredibly enthusiastic! She knew we were here for the local cuisine and gave us tons of recommendations, all places where the locals eat. Every time we came in or out, she greeted us, making us feel right at home. The eel noodles, shaved ice, Shangyi Maiguo, Dongxing raw fish congee, and Yuansinjieqiao fermented bean curd fried kueh were all delicious. I guess only locals know about the eel noodles, as there isn't even a proper storefront. Next time I'm in Jieyang, I'll definitely choose Huanman again.

The hotel's location is great, about 1 kilometer from the ancient city, and offers a river view. The room decor is nice, but the cleanliness could be improved, especially in public areas like the elevators.

The hotel's location is great, right across from Rongjiang River. It's clean and the room is spacious enough. I checked in late at night, and the front desk girl was very enthusiastic and even offered complimentary breakfast. Although there wasn't a wide variety of options, the food tasted good and was filling.

This is a newly opened hotel, so all the facilities are quite new. We got complimentary breakfast with our stay. While it wasn't overly lavish, it included staples, vegetables, fruits, meats, drinks, and even a live cooking station, and everything tasted really good – excellent value for money! Plus, you can check out at 2 PM, which is perfect if you like to sleep in or have an afternoon departure. The front desk staff and the owner were incredibly helpful and friendly! Highly recommend!

The room was very clean, and the amenities were complete (including a washing machine and dryer). The river view was expansive, with Donghu Park and Rongjiang River right in front of you. It was a stay with excellent value for money.

This hotel is located in a bustling area of the city, close to all the main attractions. The rooms are well-equipped, comfortable, and very clean. The service is also excellent. It's a highly recommended place to stay.

The overall experience exceeded my expectations. The hygiene was top-notch, and the facilities were complete and brand new. The soundproofing was great, so I slept soundly. It's convenient for dining and shopping nearby, and the service was thoughtful and meticulous. A perfect stay, highly recommended!

The room was quite spacious and comfortable. The downside of a lake-view room is that it's along the street, so there's a fair bit of noise from passing vehicles downstairs, which was a bit disruptive. Otherwise, everything else was pretty good. They have a self-service laundry room, which is quite convenient!

Great location! The front desk staff were lovely and enthusiastic! Highly recommend for food and fun! The service was excellent!

The room is nice and the overall environment is great, with a good view facing East Lake. The only downsides are that the breakfast selection is limited and replenishment is slow.

The hotel's location isn't ideal; it's quite far from the attractions unless you're driving. Everything else was great, though. It's a new hotel, so the facilities are very modern, the service is excellent, and it's extremely clean. Breakfast is included, but it's pretty basic.
