Hotels in Moon River Historic District, Jiaxing

A friend recommended this hotel for a one-night stay, and it was perfect for taking the kids out. First, the hotel is right inside Nanhu Tiandi; just park your car and take the elevator. It's very convenient for dining, shopping, and sightseeing, especially now that the weather is hot, enjoying the night view in the evening is a great experience. The room was clean, tidy, and comfortable. Secondly, the hotel provides complimentary qipao and hanfu clothing, as well as its own garden, just out the back door—it's photogenic. Taking photos yourself at the hotel is definitely enough. Since we were traveling with our mothers, we wanted to give them a unique experience, so we booked a photographer and makeup artist on the hotel's recommendation. They were both fantastic! The communication was smooth, the staff were friendly, and most importantly, the photography and makeup skills were top-notch. The mothers were all very satisfied. Since we made a last-minute decision, we didn't bring any clothes, as there aren't many styles or sizes here. If you need any, you can bring your own clothes, and that would be perfect.

I was in Jiaxing for the weekend and chose the Shuyue Hotel in the Yuehe Historic District. It's a 6-7 minute stroll from the Yuehe River, which is quite close. The hotel's exterior isn't impressive, but the interior is nice; I forgot to take photos. The Shujing twin beds are both 1.35 meters long and can be joined together to create a king-size bed, perfect for a couple or a family trip. The room has separate wet and dry areas, the air conditioning is excellent, and there are plenty of restaurants nearby. I'd definitely stay there again if I had the chance.

For my mother's birthday, I went to Jiaxing for a walk and found this hotel in Luxihui. It was very cost-effective and had a clear price advantage over other hotels here. In the Luxihui historical district, it is also very close to the Moon River for a stroll. The Jiangnan blue-tiled and white-walled houses are very distinctive. I couldn't find the lobby at first. Ctrip located it at Jiangnan Mingzhuang Restaurant. In fact, the road from the entrance of this restaurant goes straight in and opposite the public security police room. I used Ctrip's early check-in privilege and the hotel upgraded me if I didn't have the original room type, which is commendable. The room is clean and tidy, and there is a small balcony so that the smell of smoke from smoking guests will not pollute the room. It is very friendly to non-smoking guests staying later. The reviews said the breakfast was relatively simple. I was a little worried at first, but then I went to eat it. I thought it was pretty good for the price. There were freshly cooked noodles, vegetables, eggs, poached eggs, French fries, porridge and side dishes. Bread, milk, soy milk, tea, yogurt, OK, you can eat as much as you want for breakfast, this is enough. The service is also very good. The front desk will take you to the room and tell you the location of the restaurant on the way. My mother also gave me some fruit for her birthday and a small gift after check-out. The service staff in the breakfast room are also very enthusiastic and humane. It’s a good experience. I will come back for a vacation next time I have the opportunity. The experience is very good. I used the Ctrip coupons and it is very cost-effective.

This was a ”magical journey.” I was forced to flee Shanghai due to a Times Youth League concert, so I decided to check out the new Atour branch. The branch is the ”Atour Jiaxing Nanhu Tiandi Branch.” Typing ”Atour Jiaxing Nanhu” into the map brought up the address, but upon arrival at the hotel, they told me my reservation couldn't be found. I checked on my phone and realized I'd arrived at the ”Atour Jiaxing Nanhu Branch,” while I'd booked the ”Atour Jiaxing Nanhu Tiandi Branch.” What a bummer! In the hotel lobby, there were two receptionists: one on the phone, the other checking in another guest. I flitted around in front of them for a long time, unsure which side to check in. At least they could have said, ”Are you checking in? Please wait a moment.” I got my room card and was told one was an electric card, which I could keep plugged into the room for power. However, when I opened the door, the air conditioner was on full blast, and there was an electric card in the card slot. The chair hadn't been tucked away under the table, likely due to a hasty departure. I saw the late-night porridge restaurant on Ctrip, but no one mentioned it to me. I only realized it existed when I was leaving. Don't write about things I didn't mention. I wasn't impressed by Atour's unique service at all. Overall, the new location is quite good, except for the rather long walk up to the fifth floor. As for the service, I'm not being picky, but you're Atour. If you're always talking about your service, you need to live up to the standards you're known for and let your guests experience it.

Pros: Parking was convenient. The lobby was spacious with plenty of seating areas and complimentary refreshments, showing thoughtful planning rather than just a standard setup. Overall service was excellent and friendly. The front desk staff were proactive and helpful, and housekeeping was very prompt. Breakfast service was also very well-managed. Lingguo (a staff member) provided particularly thoughtful service, always checking in on our needs. The room was spacious and very comfortable. The floor-to-ceiling balcony doors and windows, along with the sliding bathroom door, created a grand and luxurious feel. The bathroom itself was very spacious, fitted with high-end brands, and the hairdryer was excellent. The quality of the amenities made every penny feel worthwhile. The bathtub even featured a caddy for drinks and snacks, perfect for enjoying a soak, and disposable bath liners were also provided. A drying rack in the bathroom was also a thoughtful and practical addition for laundry. The room's lighting control panel was very convenient, offering several modes activated with a single touch. The view from the balcony was absolutely stunning. It's a photographer's dream – incredibly photogenic, you can capture fantastic shots without even leaving the hotel, and you'll have the view all to yourself. The night view was equally atmospheric and perfect for photos. The room entrance featured a wooden screen partition, effectively separating the entryway from the main sleeping area – a thoughtful touch that provided a nice sense of quiet and privacy. This area also had a long desk with a very comfortable chair, which was perfect for our child's online classes. The hotel offered intangible cultural heritage experiences, which needed to be booked a day in advance; I didn't get a chance to try them due to time constraints. However, I did use the complimentary drink voucher provided by the hotel for a tea house just a two-minute walk away. On a hot afternoon, I met up with friends and family there. The tea house was wonderfully air-conditioned, had beautiful window views, offered private rooms, and even had an adorable resident cat. I enjoyed it so much that I went back for two consecutive afternoons. The hotel is conveniently located right next to Yuehe Ancient Town. For local cuisine, I highly recommend 'Zou Da Xian' (the main branch is less than a five-minute walk from the hotel). There's also one of the area's top Japanese restaurants right behind the hotel. Overall, this hotel's location is incredibly convenient for me, and I would definitely choose it again in the future. Cons: There was no room service menu in the room. I suppose guests here might not typically use room service. I tried calling the restaurant to order, but it wasn't possible, so I had to go downstairs to eat. This was quite perplexing to me; perhaps in the era of food delivery apps, everyone just opts for takeout. Another minor drawback was that the breakfast selection was exactly the same for both days, which was a first for me. To be honest, the breakfast was delicious enough to motivate me to get up early, and I especially loved the small wontons. However, I was surprised that the menu didn't change at all over two days. There was no capsule coffee machine in the room, and the breakfast coffee was quite subpar.

The location is very good. It is just walkng distance to the famous sightseeing, Moon River Historic Street. The staffs are nice, helpful & willing to advise valuable tourist information. Also, they provide customers free washing machine services. It is very convenient to customers. However, one thing to be improved. No luggage rack provided in the hotel room. It is very bad for the old guy because their knee always not in good condition. Thanks to the staffs that they finally provide us 4 chairs to put on the luggage case. They are kind to us & tried their best to sort out our problem.

The hotel is conveniently located, quiet in a busy area, and Yuehe Ancient Street is nearby. The hotel environment is very good, the environment is elegant and unique, living by the water, the classic Jiangnan style, small bridges and flowing water, resting in the scenic area, returning to the most essential leisure. The hardware is very good, and the housekeeper Xiao Dong is considerate. The hotel has its own children's playground, which is quite large. The children played all night and were reluctant to leave. It happened that there was an activity at Luxiehui, so I took the children to listen to guitar playing and guess riddles... There is also a teahouse called Suiyin Jiliang next to the hotel, which is decorated with logs. Order a pot of soothing tea in it, chat for a few words, be in a daze, and quietly experience the slow-paced life.

The facade of the hotel is large and the rest area is spacious. Check-in is fast. The staff is also more. Because I forgot to note that I don’t want the last room, I was satisfied to stay away from the elevator, but I got the last room. The room facilities are good. The space is enough. I really like this removable direction. The TV design meets the people who can watch TV in the bathroom. The sofa is very clean and tidy. Atour's pillows and services have always been ok and the corridor is very spacious. There is no narrow depression. The nightingale porridge presented at night is also quite new. There is a box horse in Xuhui Square around the hotel, so it is very convenient to go shopping and buy something. It is very convenient to take to Jiaxing Station and then the tram to the terminal. There are not many roads. The hotel is basically 3 kilometers away from the attractions around Nanhu Yuehe Street. The traffic is still convenient. I have thought about it next time. Booked. Overall, it is beyond my imagination. The price is relatively high. I hope it can be maintained. Finally, thank you staff. I asked for a few packs of tea before leaving!

It is very close to the train station and also relatively close to Jiaxing Nanhu Lake, making travel very convenient. Jiaxing is a very nice city! Very clean and not crowded. The night view of Nanhu Lake is beautiful!

The mattress was the perfect firmness and the pillows were the perfect height, significantly improving sleep quality. The overall experience exceeded expectations, offering excellent value for money, and the service and facilities were excellent. The hotel's design is stylish and modern, with meticulous attention to detail. Highly recommended. The ambiance is beautiful and the cleanliness is excellent. The room offers a wide view, a breathtaking view, and a truly relaxing atmosphere. The soundproofing is excellent, providing quiet and private comfort, completely shielded from the outside world. This was a truly wonderful stay. The hotel's elegant ambiance and attentive service provided a truly comfortable experience. The room was clean and tidy, fully equipped, and the bedding was soft and comfortable, ensuring a good night's sleep.
