Many visitors are attracted to this beautiful village and would stay for months to paint, take photos and hike. This time, the experience of staying in the B&B in Shaxi Ancient Town is really great. The location of the B&B is very convenient. It is only a few steps away from the core attractions of the ancient town. The alarm clock is quiet and completely avoids the hustle and bustle. As soon as you enter the courtyard, you feel like you have entered a wealthy family. The courtyard is very beautiful, full of wooden products, full of quaint charm, wooden furniture and handicrafts make people feel the strong local cultural atmosphere. Even if you do nothing, it is a kind of enjoyment to stay quietly in the small courtyard. The bedding in the room is also very comfortable, with a smart toilet and central air conditioning. The entire decoration can fully reflect the boss's taste. The boss is very nice. He also prepared a warm tea room, a reading study, a delicious breakfast, and warm milk in the evening. After a day of shopping, I came back and lay quietly on the recliner, facing the small courtyard, and felt that the whole person was relaxed. This is a very unforgettable stay experience. Recommended to all friends who come to Shaxi Ancient Town. If you want a period of time away from the hustle and bustle of the city and feel the tranquility of the ancient town, this B&B is definitely your best choice.

We really enjoyed our first stay in Shaxi on my anniversary visit to Yunnan Province. Thanks to the fantastic service provided by Miss Yang and her incredible staff, we really enjoyed our two day stay. Originally we were only planning to stay one night but after a long trip to the nearby grottos, asked to extend one night which Miss Yang was kind enough to accommodate. This guest house/hotel is brand new and has many modern amenities including a hot water pot, refrigerator, free snacks and drinks and more. Everything was brand new and well taken care of and the staff was extremely helpful navigating us from parking to the hotel. The location is also very central to much of what Shaxi has to offer. The breakfast noodles were a real treat! We will stay here again next year.

It is very quiet in the small courtyard. Feifei, the housekeeper of the homestay, is very good, responsive, and takes good care of the guests' feelings. She will also send us an umbrella when it rains. Feifei always chats with everyone with a smile. It is really comfortable to chat with her, and she will also share the beautiful scenery and coffee shops of Shaxi with us.

Other rooms were built with the idea of following the local culture and history in their layout. Of course, you will find every comfort of today’s world. To create this balance, the original roof was lifted. Then, modern bathrooms with all amenities were installed. All the while, the finish of the wooden furniture reflects the history of the Bai people. The furniture itself was designed with clean lines to give them a modern feel. Each room lets in beautiful natural lighting alongside meticulous wood or granite flooring.
