I like Shaxi so much! The hotel service is good. When we arrived at the ancient city, they helped us carry our luggage 🧳. We also upgraded to a king-size bed room. The weather was cold, but the electric heating baseboards were turned on and the whole room was still very warm! The welcome fruit was apples, which were very sweet. I recommend everyone to come on Fridays. The market is fun and the things are super cheap! The mango is super big and costs 10 yuan for 3 pounds! The beef is also delicious! The persimmon cake is also delicious. If you are not used to the smell of milk, don't buy milk buns and milk tofu, it is very fishy...

I have always wanted to go to Shaxi. I picked many hotels and finally chose this one. I was not disappointed. Everything was good. The hotel facilities are well maintained and the rooms are clean and tidy. The breakfast is rich and different every day. The afternoon tea is also delicious. The receptionist is very enthusiastic and the check-in is fast. She also patiently introduced me to the nearby food when I asked. If there is anything during the stay, the staff will come to help quickly, such as adding pillows and quilts. The price-performance ratio is very high, and all the services are in place.

All the accommodations for this trip to Yunnan were not booked in advance, but we took a look at various options in advance and decided on the spot. When we opened the door of Wuliu Xinsu and saw the room at first sight, we had already identified it! The graceful woman took us around the whole yard, the study, the tea room, the restaurant, the terrace, each one was so meticulous and careful. Walking into our room, I was full of joy. The whole layout was classical and filled with modern simplicity and atmosphere. The room was really big enough. The humidifier placed on the bedside table was so considerate. After all, the climate in Yunnan is relatively dry. The welcome fruits and snacks on the desk were very delicate. The bedding was the white color I liked, and the quilt and double pillows were also very comfortable. The bathroom was dry and wet, which was very humane. The bath water was also large enough, warm enough, and the water flow was stable. The floor heating was very considerate. The breakfast on the second day surprised us even more. Auntie asked for our preferences in advance. We chose Western food, toasted bread and sandwiches, yogurt and nuts, freshly peeled mangoes, and sweet potatoes and tomatoes were all peeled. This service is also unparalleled! We were a little touched in our hearts, and we really regretted why we only arranged one night in Shaxi. Afterwards, we found out that the gentle woman yesterday was the proprietress. No wonder the whole homestay exudes refinement and comfort, and even the aunt is so soft-spoken and polite. The transportation of the homestay is very convenient, there is a parking lot next to it, and it takes only a few minutes to walk to the center of the ancient town. Shaxi old town itself is a true gem on its own, and this place is a gem in a gem. Hidden just outside of the Shaxi old town, it's proximity to the town square （寺登街）is a big plus. The landscape is super cozy, highly suitable for those who want to really have a good break from the hustle and bustle of city life, resting ones mind in an uninterrupted environment. Let's not forget the lady owner taking care of the place, who is so accommodating and helpful. And let's not forget the hot fresh milk provided every evening, which gives another level of warmness to the stay. Notes: if you are here on a Friday, you are of luck. The farmers market held weekly on Friday is just a few minutes walk away from this guesthouse too!

We had a wonderful stay. The english speaking owner and the very friendly staff staff did their utmost best to make our stay as good as possible. The staff provided us with tips in the area, scooter rental and all other help we needed. Sometimes travelling in China can come with challenges coming from Europe, but the staff made us all feel at home and relaxed. The rooms, including bathrooms are very clean!

The room is warm and clean. The owner is very attentive in the layout. Bottled water, bottled tea, makeup remover, facial mask, hand cream, and even steam eye mask are provided. It is so considerate! The bedding is comfortable and the toiletries are all branded. I traveled alone and the owner also arranged carpooling and luggage pick-up. This is the most satisfactory inn in this Yunnan trip.

Shiran is beautiful with sunshine, and I had a very pleasant holiday here. Thanks to the housekeeper for helping me upgrade to the room where the fairy sister lives. The service is very considerate, and the housekeeper can respond promptly when I ask for help with some problems. There are two choices of Chinese and Western breakfast. After staying for a long time, the housekeeper will take the initiative to ask if you want to adjust other styles. The fruit tea is also very delicious. On the coldest day, the housekeeper also put charcoal fire in the hall, and it was very warm when I pushed the door in. If I come to Shaxi next time, I will come to Shiran again.

The hotel is located next to Nanzhai Gate. The ancient town is not very convenient to go anywhere. The boss is super good. Check in and check out to pick us up. The room was clean, the breakfast was delicious, and I had a great time in Shaxi. The only regret is that the room is a bit cold and the air conditioning heating efficiency is slightly lower. But in general it is still not hidden!

👉This is an ancient house of the Bach ethnic group, about 200 years old, renovated and put into business. The house is located in the heart of Sa Khe ancient town, less than 100 meters from the ancient stage and the Yujin stone bridge, surrounded by cafes, restaurants, handicraft shops... The front of the hotel is for renting and selling costumes, inside is a quiet yard and covered with stone lotus flowers, the space is very airy and quiet. I booked a room on the 2nd floor, the room is small, pretty and clean, fully equipped, with a small yard in front of the door, in the morning you can sip a cup of tea to welcome the early morning sun, at night you can sit and eat fried mushrooms and sip a cup of local plum wine, a true feeling of rest. The hotel has a separate kitchen and laundry room for guests, if you want you can cook and do laundry here. 👉The hotel owner is an elderly and extremely funny person. I went for many days so I brought quite a lot of luggage. However, the owner was very happy to help me carry my luggage from the town gate to my room. (Vehicles are not allowed in the old town, so the owner helped me push my luggage from the gate. All the roads in the town are paved with stone, so you can't pull your luggage and need a special cart. So if you book a room here, contact the owner before coming for help). 👉The price of the room I booked on the 2nd floor was about 1 million VND/night, and I was completely satisfied with this price with all the emotions it brought. I only stayed for 2 nights, but the owner was extremely enthusiastic from the first day to the last day, helping me book a car back to Lijiang, and even giving me a souvenir with the promise that even if I brought more luggage next time, he would still happily welcome me. 🤣🤣 👉Sa Khe ancient town is one of the extremely well-preserved ancient sites in Yunnan province. If Lijiang is likened to a fairy with a splendid and proud beauty, then Sa Khe is a quiet and fragile beauty in the wind. Coming here, you will naturally feel life slow down, allowing yourself to be a little lazy, a little gentle with yourself. If I have the chance, I will definitely stay in Sa Khe longer!

Beautiful room n nice view from window. I like the field view in front of the window. Very clean. Location on the big street, so the car driver drop me in front of the hotel door, no need to pull luggage. Location outside ancient city, but very close. You can walk. The owner is kind person, give me free water n help me to fill my we chat wallet.
