Shaxi Ancient Town Xixin Homestay

❤️Highly recommend this extremely quiet, comfortable, and cozy B&B❤️ Xixin B&B is a local B&B run by a husband and wife team. It's ideally located amidst the fields, a 10-minute walk from Yujin Bridge in Shaxi Ancient Town. While the car won't reach the main entrance, if you communicate your arrival time with the owner in advance, they'll come out to help with your luggage. It's a two-minute walk along the country road to the entrance... I think this is the perfect way to experience the slow pace of life in Shaxi. It's a perfect way to experience the surrounding countryside every day. The room is spacious and stylish. The furniture is well-placed and designed. The bedding is incredibly comfortable. My favorite thing is the view from the window, which looks like a painting. 🖼️ Even though the sunflowers were already withered, the view from the window was so relaxing. ❤️ The blue sky, white clouds, and green leaves made it a comfortable place to stay all day. Since I was traveling alone, I was too lazy to go out for dinner. I'm especially grateful to the owner and his family for their hospitality. I was able to fully experience local home cooking. It was so rare and so wonderful! 😘 There was even a cute little cat in the yard. The hostess prepared rice noodles, various side dishes, fruits, and milk for me for breakfast. It was so heartwarming. I will definitely stay at Xixin B&B again next time. This is exactly the slow-paced Shaxi experience I'm looking for. 🖼️

The environment is great and the owner is very welcoming. It's a shame I only stayed three days and couldn't find a room to extend my stay. I look forward to coming back next time.

This is a great B&B. The twin room has a large terrace. It's a real treat to dine in the morning and evening under the idyllic scenery. They even gave us homemade tofu pudding in the afternoon. The owner and his family are all very nice!
