I loved everything about this guesthouse and was sad to leave. English-speaking owners Joyce and Eric were immensely helpful and fun to chat to, and my room was a perfect blend of rustic style with all the mod cons - including a heated bed pad and a heated toilet seat. Shaxi itself is extremely charming. Highly recommended.

Very nice, very clean, the boss and his wife are really nice, we asked a lot of questions and they answered us patiently, picked us up and helped us with our luggage. I should say this is the best homestay I have ever stayed in

The small courtyard is beautiful and exquisite, the room is very clean, the details are in place, and the stay is very comfortable. The gate has an access card, and the safety factor is very high! Most importantly, the boss and the boss's wife are super nice, very enthusiastic and kind.
