📍You are planning to visit Plitvice Lakes National Park. We strongly recommend staying at Lake House in the town of Jezerce, right next to the park entrance. The place is enchanting, the setting is idyllic, and the welcome is very warm and exceptionally kind. The comfort is on par with everything else. You can bring your own meals because you also have access to the very well-equipped kitchen. Need we mention the breakfast? Yes, it is as generous as its hosts. In short! We LOVED it. Go there, you will be delighted.

We stayed here one night in order to visit the national park at 7 am. The place is easy is to find through google maps and is just 10 min from entrance 1 of the park. Host provides free coffee/ tea. In the morning I also saw some fruits in the kitchen. There is dinner available for 25 Euros and breakfast for 10 Euros. One needs to inform the host in advance for meals. If you want to eat out, there are a few options in 3-4 km driving distance. The backyard is very big and pretty. If travelling with family or in group, it is a lovely place to hangout. Ample and comfortable car parking. Nice sized cleans room with attached bathroom. Overall is was a good stay.

The hosts of Lake House, a guesthouse located close to the awe-inspiring Plivitce National Park, are really friendly and helpful. They went out of their way to prepare a delicious dinner when we arrived late. The rooms are nice and clean. The backyard is huge and suitable for a casual game of volleyball.

The absolute worst experience with hospitality in Croatia. There are plenty of other places to stay where you will be treated decently. I was practically kicked out at 10:01, so 1 minute after check out, why are the guests were still allowed to be there. I had already vacated my room and I was finishing my coffee in the kitchen. All this because I asked about breakfast options and they didn't have any.
