Just on the way home from an enjoyable week's holiday. Thankyou to Maurice and family and staff for their friendliness and hospitality - they go the extra mile. We were made to feel special on our 35th Wedding Anniversay. Many Thanks - David and Margaret Rigby

really enjoyable stay the bar is called Friends and Maurice is a master at getting people to get to know each other and becoming friends a special shout to the staff who are so friendly and helpful as well as being efficient . the whole of the hotel is spotlessly clean .Nice pool area with plenty sunbeds and plenty areas for shade when needed. Food was tasty and plentiful.we had a lovely room on the top floor with a large balcony although other people at the hotel said their room s were small .I would not hesitate to recommend this hotel for a great holiday James

Overall I’d this hotel is great, awesome location and very friendly service. Rooms are ok (basic) very flat pillows and an adequate size BUT you will need AC in the Summer months for sure. The staff are very welcome and helpful, a really warm sense of service too. The only criticism I’d say is the style of service and choice of food at breakfast and dinner; it does take some getting used to; For breakfast, there is no actual menu but lots of choice. Lunch is served on the terrace and you can opt for this if you choose to skip dinner. Dinner, some of the choices are a little strange and/or not as described on the menu (which you choose from the night before) eg Meatballs and peas was actually MeatLOAF and a plate of green tinned peas ( strange ) Even stranger was pizza and chips, which actually was a magherita WITH fried chips on TOP of the pizza, very strange and quite poor to be honest. Other than that I’d totally recommend the hotel for the awesome experience you will always receive.

This hotel is amazing. We have stayed here many times and love everything about this hotel. Situated on Piazza Marina it is central to many bars and restaurants - and only a very short walk to the water park Caribe Bay. The staff in the hotel are brilliant. Brenda, Franco, Monica, Maurice and Federico keep the place running perfect - always available for tips and advice, and offer great service generally. Rooms are good - plenty of space with good views across Lido di Jesolo. We always go half board and have found the food really good. Always amazing choices at dinner time, with the usual selection for breakfast. The choice of food at lunch time is huge, with reasonable prices. Would highly recommend this family run hotel in Lido di Jesolo.

Homeward bound after 11 days in Hotel D’Annunzio. Staff are the friendliest I have ever encountered, nothing is too much trouble, they work exceptionally hard. It was our wedding anniversary whilst away and was given a present, card and cake by the staff, such a lovely touch and shows how they look after their guests with 5 star treatment. There is a good choice of food and portions are large, you certainly won’t go hungry and the menu changes every day, so you have new delights to tickle your taste buds daily. Good number of loungers and deck chairs, no 7am dash for a sunbed here, which is a welcome change. Anyone interested in going to Venice and the islands I would suggest the local transport tickets, valid for 24 hours at a charge of €34.30, covers all transport, and local buses in Lido di Jesolo. I know some people have commented on the size of the rooms and no tea/coffee facilities, the rooms are more than adequate, with a free safe and exceptionally clean and breakfast is from 6:45, so if you want an early cuppa there is one. Tourist Tax is €1.30 pppn. Whilst rated a 3 star I have stayed in worse 4 star hotels, so you can understand why people come back year after year. Pool is open 7am to 7pm and is not over busy, drinks are served by the pool, so you can top up your tan and keep hydrated at the same time 🧃🥤😎. Trying their ice creams is a must, they are delicious. 🍨 If you like water parks Caribe Bay is a 5min walk, be prepared to pay a further €15 on top of the entrance fee if you want a parasol and 2 loungers. Prices as expected large beer €6, large white wine €5, cans of pop or large water €3.50, gelato’s vary, large ones between €7.50 and €12.50, they are a meal in themselves. Would I come again, definitely yes, location is great, atmosphere is chilled and relaxed, street outside is pedestrianised from 8pm and the beach is less than a 2min walk All in all one of the best holidays we have had, largely due to the hospitality of the owners and 1st class staff😎.

We have just spent a week in this family run hotel and are more than happy to recommend it! The hotel is spotless in all areas. We stayed on a B&B basis so visited many other hotels in the area for meals and drinks and Hotel D’Annuncio is far cleaner and more impressive aesthetically than the majority. The rooms are functional, with safe, English speaking news channel (France 24- channel 55). The air con is loud but much needed and an extra 70euros for a week. The breakfast is lovely with choice of either cereal, cheese & meat & tomato, or cooked egg, sausage, bacon. Plenty of breads and pastries. The pool is great, spotless, nice and cool. The loungers are rather hard, so the addition of some mattresses or soft covers would be nice. A few more umbrellas would also be good. The location is perfect! Best part of the vibrant and very long main Street. 40 minutes to the lighthouse end and a good few hours if you want to walk the other direction! The street offers great shade with lovely trees. There are hundreds of shops, bars and restaurants with the nicer ones at this side of the stretch! It’s only a 2 minute walk to the beach which also has a path across the sand the whole way along the beach. The amenities are incredible all along the beach promenade. -showers, toilets, cafes and chicheria! This hotel’s greatest asset is the staff- they go out of their way to help you enjoy your stay. Their relaxed and jovial nature encourages guests to engage with one another in a friendly and respectful manner too. Highly recommended.

Consigliato!!!

We would certainly recommend the Hotel D'Annunzio. All the staff are very friendly and make you feel like a long-lost member of the family. Maurice, Monica, Brenda and the rest of their team are all fantastic, and we loved their banter, which also helped break the ice and have a laugh with the other guests. We can understand why some of the guests have been returning the D'Annunzio for many years. The hotel rooms are quite small, but ours was perfectly adequate, for 7 nights. The air conditioning was an extra €70 for the week, and the tourist tax was €1.30 per person per night. There is a very small safe in the room, but there are no tea making facilities, so you would need to bring your own kettle, although breakfast is available from 06:45. We stayed half-board, and the food was cooked to order. Dinner is pre-ordered the evening before, from the next day's menu. A tour guide mentioned that in Italy, the first course is the largest, with the second being somewhat smaller. This isn't the case at the D'Annunzio. It's a case of large and even larger. There are plenty of sunbeds by the pool, but they are rather uncomfortable and would benefit from the addition of a mat and a few more umbrellas. You can easily take a day trip to Venice and Burano from the hotel, but you will need to get the correct 24hr ticket from the tobacconist. We also booked a very nice day trip to Verona & Lake Garda via Jet2. Maurice informed us that the Jet2 drop-off and pick-up used to be directly outside the hotel entrance, but that Jet2 had now sadly moved it to the far less convenient main road at the rear of the hotel. We were okay, but other less-mobile guests would struggle. All in all, it was a very pleasant stay with incredible hosts and excellent company.

Had a brilliant stay. All of the staff were excellent; efficient, friendly and humorous. Thank you so much for making our holiday comfortable! Special shout out to the cleaners who did an amazing job. Had an action packed few days with 2 trips to Venice and one to the islands.
