Cleaning not vary good sink always overflow No water bottle after first day

We had a fantastic stay here last month. The Staff is top notch and very accommodating. The buffets for breakfast and dinner were fabulous with many tasty options. We felt very safe here. The beds and pillows were comfy and the shower had such great pressure. Excellent location to boot!

The buffet and service are amazing. The rooftop has a great night view and you can order drinks and snacks. The hotel is clean and the service wonderful. You can't beat this location near the Old City and access to the Via Dolorosa.

Perfect location, food, hospitality, ambience. Just a pity not allowed to play the nice piano at the corner of the living room. The bed was nice and also provided their own packaging of bath utitilties.

Room had good size. We had 4 beds that were very comfortable. The magnifying mirror in the bathroom was a bonus. The linen and the towels were white and clean. The towels were changed everyday. Breakfast was very good with a lot of choices - salads, cheese, eggs, juices, good coffee, tea, fruits. Everything that you could eat in the morning was there. The food was fresh and well presented. The hotel and reception are at the first floor. No elevator until there. You need to climb with your luggage up. The windows were keeping the noise out of the room. The mini bar was very small. The closet was very spacious. All the people working in the hotel were very nice and ready to help you any way you needed. The hotel has all the space nicely decorated. The terrace on the roof was very beautiful. We did not try the dinner but I think that matches the quality of breakfast. It cost about 150 NIS/person. The bus terminal is around the corner. For Mount of Olives - bus no 255/275 can be taken from there. You need to purchase an electronic wallet to put on it at least 30 NIS. The card cost 5 NIS and can be purchased from a store near by. You can use it on any means of public transport. We took the train from Ben Gourion until to Yitzhak Navon and it was perfect- 20 minutes ride. If you do not heavy luggage you can take tram 1. From Damascus gate to the hotel there are about 450 m. But now the tram lines are being built in the area and the side walks are a little bit dusty.

Check-in was delayed. No explanation provided. Toilet constantly running. Toilet seat not fixed and broken. Attempts at fixing included removal of the button to engage the flush which was not re-connected until I called. Again broken. Told “we cannot do anything about it.” Management not focused on quality. Asked us to change rooms without any offer of help or concession. Fridge is cool, but does not keep items cold. Not very helpful to have a fridge at all. Light bulb in room burned out. Breakfast buffet included with our room rate, but with a single coffee maker and a full hotel, lines were at least a 20 minute wait time in the morning. People bumping into one another. Seating crowded. Cost of room is nearly that of a 5-star hotel at a 3-star (at best) facility. The one good point of this hotel is the proximity to holy sites. Otherwise, will not return or recommend.
