GGuest UserFirefly Redclay Pension was great place to stay. Very quiet, very clean pension. The owners are very kind and helpful. They go out of there way to ensure that your stay and experience is very memorable and relaxing. We had a awesome time there! Clean fresh mountain air, blue skies and the beginning of autumn foliage. We would definitely stay there again and recommend the Firefly Redclay pension.
GGuest UserIt was so clean and nice. I sincerely thank you for the good price and happy memories. The view was also nice. I will use Trip.com again next time.
GGuest UserIt was a great room to stay for one night. I found a nice restaurant near the accommodation with my friends and had a delicious meal. The accommodation was also comfortable.
GGuest UserRooms were pleasant, everything functioning nicely. Hotel is comfortable and reasonably well-organised. Around the resort there are places where poor signage and language difficulties may give pause for non-Korean-speaking travellers, but it's nothing that a smartphone and a little persistence can't overcome. Free shuttle buses to the close-by ski hill and two local towns are frequent enough. Staff are kind, considerate and helpful. Food on the mountain is basic but perfectly fine. Unless you are coming for the casino specifically I wouldn't recommend the hotel in general. All facilities require extra charges and are cynically overpriced to rob more money from the punters, whose tinted-window executive cars arrive in droves. The less said about the buffet at the Grand Table the better. There is something very soulless about the High1 resort in general, and the strong corporate vibes give the place an eerie quality. The skiing is not so bad, although experienced riders will get bored after 2 or 3 days, unless a rare snowfall increases the fun. That said, the resort's snow-making abilities are quite impressive. If you are someone who gets irritated by poor piste etiquette, don't come here. At any given time half of the riders will be in the process of falling over, will have already fallen over, or will be chatting sat in the middle of the fairway. Try not to imagine anything in the way of apres-ski. As a solo traveller bored of watching the casino donkeys shift about the hotel, I went searching in the local towns for a bar. It was a depressing failure. I read the resort was intended to bring money to the depressed mining towns of Sabuk and Gohan, but seemingly it has turned these places into a succession of garishly presented empty restaurants and ”Thai massage” joints, the latter being a favourite of the aforementioned tinted-window crowd.
GGuest UserThe air conditioning, electric blanket, and other items worked well, and shampoo, conditioner, body wash, disposable skin lotion, toothbrush, and toothpaste were provided, so it was nice to travel light.
SSam SentshiThis hotel is very close to Lishe North Station and is suitable as an accommodation option outside the high1 ski resort. The hotel front desk is very professional, the room facilities are complete, and the environment is very clean. The microwave is in the elevator room on the first basement floor of the hotel. There is a CU and a 711 convenience store downstairs. It is a 200-meter walk to the town, where there are many specialty restaurants to choose from.
GGuest UserThis is the closest accommodation to the shuttle bus stop that goes to High1 Resort.
Of course, there is also the advantage of being able to find a room much cheaper than the surrounding area on weekdays or weekends.
It can be said to be the best value for money accommodation in Hammadi, as the cleanliness and amenities are not bad for the price.
I recommend it.
GGuest UserIt's adjacent to a commercial area, parking is okay, the room condition is clean, and it's a hotel with the best cost-effectiveness at a low price on weekdays. I remember eating bibimbap for breakfast, and it was a very delicious meal, and it was really convenient not to have to go to a restaurant in the morning. The sound of the stream right next door can be healing, and some people may find it annoying, but I really liked it~~
GGuest UserI booked the High Valley Hotel for a conference at High One Resort. The motel was the facility that changed the name to the hotel, and the building was the highest in the neighborhood, so it was easy to find.
Because it's summer, I closed the windows and turned on the air conditioner. There are no mosquitoes in this community. It's cool. I can turn off the air conditioner and open the window to sleep.
But the nets in the bathroom windows are torn, which is better if you repair them.
The boss in the lobby kindly responded.
There was a stream nearby, so it was good to walk in the morning.
00xTCCGreat stay if you are heading to the resort for snowboarding, hourly shuttle bus to the ski resort however staff only have minimal English so hard to communicate and there isn't kakao taxi so it's very hard to call for a taxi, would suggest staying at the ski resort itself If you want to go to the casino.
