The hotel staff is friendly and nice.
The breakfast was also nice because it changed a little bit every day.
It was a little inconvenient because the housekeeping was not on time, and the elevator broke down during my stay, which was inconvenient.

Nice hotel in the middle of nowhere. Better prices in Kentucky for equivalent quality and better parking. The awesome view includes cornfield and Interstate traffic. One elevator on the property for staff and guests. With all the money you spend on the hotel you will skip the Bob Evans and Waffle House for breakfast.

Staff efficient and pleasant at check in & check out. The property is very clean and quiet! Room HVAC rather noisy, so shut it off. Breakfast could use an egg dish besides hard boiled, but otherwise quite sufficient. Good coffee too! Parking was easy.

Late eve checkin and unfortunately staff had technical issues with person ahead of me. Took 25 minutes…
Bathroom had long black hairs still in the shower from previous tenants.

Terrible experience stay away
Very grouchy reception on registration, the assigned room had a very bad odour of septic or bad drain upon arrival. The grounds were very very filthy and garbage everywhere. Obviously no one cleans the outside grounds. Breakfast was indicated to be a full breakfast. No way ! Toast bagels waffles cereal and oatmeal. Some condiments. Hardly a full breakfast. Hard boiled eggs shell on. This property is the worst Hampton inn I’ve ever stayed in. This property does not deserve the Hampton Flag

I checked into this hotel on October 18, 2021, and was given room 214. As I always do, upon entering the room I immediately checked the sheets, the mattress pad and the mattress for signs of bed bug activity. There were none. A few hours later I saw an insect crawling across my bed, and captured it for examination. (See accompanying pictures.) Based on its size, shape, body structure and color, it appears to be a bed bug. I showed the bug to the front desk attendant, asked him to photograph it and inform his manager of it, which he did. I checked out immediately.

I booked the room through the Hilton Honors website, it was listed as Hampton Inn - Washington Courthouse. We were looking forward to exploring an American small town, but it is not in Washington Courthouse, it is in Jeffersonville which is nothing but a crossroads with a Tanger outlet mall. Pluses are that the room was clean, the bed was comfortable, and the breakfast was up to Hampton Inn standards. Minuses were numerous, the places suffers from a horrible lack of attention to details: 1) door to cleaning closet was open when we arrived and still open when we left. 2) back door had sign on it saying 'out of order', adjacent fire exit door closer is not properly adjusted and the door remains unlocked all the time. 3) door closer on room 225 is not properly adjusted. 4) the floor in the shower was scary slippery - staff should be trained to properly clean the showers. 5) the pool water was translucent, could not see more than one foot below the surface. 6) the dining room is very small and the TV is very large, this was not objectionable but the volume was cranked all the way up. 7) the staff is pleasant but on checking out I was not asked how I enjoyed my stay.
