Comfort Suites Louisville East

We arrived very late and the desk clerk was great. Super accommodating. The lobby was being redone so the entrance was a little strange, but that wasn’t a big deal. The first room they put us in smelled TERRIBLY like ****. We reported it to the clerk and he moved us to a new room right away. Again, great service. This room smelled fine, but…. The drywall on the ceiling was peeling or falling apart in several places. There were stains/splatters on the ceiling. The AC unit was disgusting and had mold growing around it. The fridge didn’t work either. The curtains has splatters and stains all over them. The bed was clean and comfortable. No issues there. The pullout couch was clean also. Breakfast in the morning was fine for the type of hotel. Nothing remarkable. Coffee was actually pretty good. If management is reading this. Some cleaning and handyman work would go a long ways. We won’t stay here again.

Service is extremely top as expected as Comfort Suites. One of the best hotels I’ve stayed at. Clean, comfortable and right at exit, very convenient location. Breakfast attendant was above and beyond. Staff were very helpful and friendly.

My suites is large and spacious. Beds are new and comfortable. Plenty of Pillows and very comfortable. I slept very well. Very quite and peaceful place. Staff is go above and beyond for their customer. My suites and bathroom was very clean and no smell. It seems like recently renovated. Manager was very kind and helpful, too. Defiantly my favorable place for my next trip to Louisville.

Last June I reserved 2 rooms for May 2024. I knew it would be during the Kentucky Derby but I was told my confirmation number guaranteed the price, no matter that it would be a "higher" season. I re-confirmed my reservation AND price every month since then. When I called Feb 28 I was told the reservation was cancelled...No explanation and no recourse. I could make a new reservation but $2000 over the original price. I was the only contact on the reservation. I received no explanation or even notice that it was cancelled.

We stayed last year for family wedding, We are very please with service and cleanliness of the rooms we decided to book again for another family wedding and we all enjoyed our stay, best hotel to choose. Thank you everyone!

The hotel was clean, but the the place is under construction. the front doors were barred shut, so we had to use a much smaller back door. The lobby was closed off but there wasn't really a reason why. Then the pool was permanently closed (there was a bunch of lamps and storage in the room.) I chose this hotel because it had a pool so I was really disappointed by the hotel not being up-front with the rough shape of the front door, lobby, and pool. The staff were really nice and the room was clean, if I was being honest it seemed like all these projects were under "permanent construction." Great place to crash for a night but I wouldn't suggest staying longer.

Comfortable stay, staff was pleasant. Interacted with our breakfast hostess, Rosy the most. She was very welcoming, efficient and kept the area well maintained and clean. It is always nice to start your day with a warm greeting.

This hotel was a few miles outside of Louisville, but well worth the drive. The hotel was clean and comfortable and had good parking. Check in was easy and friendly. Our room was a suite and was also clean and comfortable. We stayed two nights. We had a sofa bed, microwave, refrigerator and king bed. Breakfast was sub-par. We have noticed that most hotels have really down sized and gotten lazy due to Covid on breakfast over the past year. This was no different. The first day, we had egg disks with cheese that had been in the warmer for a long time and were over cooked and dry. The biscuits and gravy were over down as well. Everything was just like it was put out at 6:00 a.m. and left. The same for the second morning, except the eggs had peppers in them and the biscuits were so hard you couldn’t even cut them with a knife, almost like they were left over from the day before and the sausage gravy in the crockpot just seemed rewarmed from day after day. It smelled burnt. We completely passed on breakfast on day two. The pool was closed. They apparently only have one cart for you to use for your luggage and a gentleman decided to take it to his room the night before because he felt he needed it in the morning more than anyone else and still had it at checkout time. When we were taking our last load out to our car, parked in our Platinum member space we saw him come out with the cart with a few things loaded on it. Maybe they should have a few more carts available for other guests.

rooms weren't ready when we checked in - went to dinner and they had housekeeping work on the rooms while we were gone - short on staff - rooms smelled like smoke- handicapped room had ample space in the shower and a shower chair was available that was sturdy --- no pool open - furniture is ok- breakfast was adequate- glad to be heading home after this one
