The Steamboat Inn

This B&B was built in the nineties to look like one of the old ones. Minor fire gave them the opportunity to freshen it up with good AC & tankless hot water. Price includes a delicious home cooked breakfast: We had Bananas Foster French Toast, Chorizo Tacos & Fruit, and Sausage & Biscuits and eggs, for the 3 mornings we were there. All rooms had large walk-in showers except the 2 rooms on the left that shared side porch and had shower/tub combinations - Victoria Gardens & Mittie Stephens. Victoria G basically had zero storage except for hanging clothes in armoire. Mardi Gras & Magnolia were down the hall from kitchen and more isolated from rest of house and shared Keurig coffee bar by rooms. Look for rooms in pics with dresser AND armoire to determine your choice. Several rooms had day-beds if you had a third person. All rooms had ceiling fans. The cook and helper were the friendliest and informative hosts you could imagine. I would definitely stay there again.

My husband and I can't say enough good things about the Steamboat Inn. Lana was an excellent host/owner. Everything was immaculate! The room was exceptionally clean. The breakfast every morning was delicious! The grounds were beautiful! Well maintained. We were in walking distance to everything in this quaint little town. A perfect place to call home for the weekend. We highly recommend the Steamboat Inn B&B. You could not ask for better service. We will return!

Was located in a very historical town, everything within walking distance, lots to see and do. Home very well maintained and staff very friendly and accommodating.
