Holiday Inn Express & Suites Jasper

Hot but nice The AC never got the room cooled down, the pool was SO cold so that helped! The Dove hair and body care items were a plus!

I always stay at Holiday Inn Express and they never have dissapointed me. The lady who does the breakfast area was the nicest person I have ever encountered! That lady needs a raise or some sort of acknowledgement for sure! She was lovely to talk with! Rooms as always were clean,tempersture was comfortable and cool after a long summer day,showers clean and stocked with lovely dove soaps,lotions and shampoo/conditioner.A lot of good tv channels as well.Staff is always nice and courteous.

Shower was scary - VERY slick tub bottom! Breakfast was not opened on time - more than 15min late

This was one of the most dirtiest and unkept hotels we have ever experienced among all of the different hotel chains that we have stayed. The check-in process began with the front desk asking for my photo ID, checking my photo ID, but then asking me to sign paperwork for a completely different guest that had yet to be checked in. On our the way to the room, the first thing we noticed was how visibly dirty the main lobby floors and carpeted hallway leading to our room was. After walking into our room and flipping on the bathroom light, we were greeted by a cracked tile below our feet. In addition, the tub had a very large surface stain, as well as what appeared to be water spots and/or mold on the ceiling above. We brought this up to the front desk, who even after my concerns of possible mold, never offered us another room. It was clear that housekeeping was either severely understaffed or just paying no attention - almost all wall-mounted dispensers (shampoo, conditioner, hand soap) were either empty on arrival or very shortly thereafter. The breakfast is your average hotel breakfast. On the morning we sat down, the trash bins were overflowing and both of the coffee dispensers were empty. Again, it was clear that additional help was needed but lacking. I will reluctantly leave this hotel with a 2 out of 5 stars, but only because the beds were extremely comfortable. This being said, our sheets also had stains, including what appeared to be dried nail polish. Gross! We attempted to venture away from our typical Hilton stay on this particular trip and unfortunately we paid the price as a result. Needless to say, we won’t be returning to this location or any other IHG hotel in the future!

I went online and booked a room for my fiance. His daughter is in the hospital,,and needed a place to sleep and shower. It scheduled me with a 3rd party without my knowledge..He checks in and then finds out no tv or internet. Goes to the room and its cold and the heat was off, and wouldn’t turn on. He had to go back there the desk, and they did figure that part out. I was trying to help him. He had not slept in a few days, but with all the issues he took the shower and left. I called and asked for something to make right. She said unfortunately I can’t because you scheduled with a 3rd party. We always use holiday inn. Express, but i would not recommend this one. 160 dollars for a room with no tv, internet, and cold. I also called the 3rd party. Nobody cares enough to do anything about it. I think they could of offered to do something to make up, and they never apologized when he checked out a hour after checking in. I would never stay again!!!!
