I checked in 7/5/25 around 6pm with a man who verified my id. Examined the room but did not move suitcases in. Returned about 8-9pm to take showers but neither room key worked. Went to lobby and a woman made 2 new keys after just asking for my room number. She did not verify my identity- had never seen me before. Just remade keys. Entered the room to find someone else had moved into it. Thankfully they were not there!!! We left immediately and returned to the woman at the desk. After much looking and asking me again and again if I was the other person, she figured out that there were two people registered with the same first name and that I had been given the wrong room. My last name is 10 letters long and the other woman’s last name appeared to be 3 letters long. Neither she nor the man who originally checked me in verified my last name. I felt this was an egregious security error and would have felt awful if the other people had been in my original room when my husband and I “busted in on them”. It was the night of the local fireworks and I’d guess that’s where those people were. The hotel also had quite a smell to it as well. Our original room was on the second floor and I asked the man where the stairs were. He actually said he didn’t know if there were any. I know of course that there have to be stairs by code since elevators are not used in case of fire. What a very off and not pleasant experience.

They "forgot" to clean the room. Breakfast was not very good. Eggs tasted bland, like they were powdered, or fake. Did not dare to try the sausage, sitting in a bunch of grease. Toaster burned everything put in it. Big pile of burnt toast next to the toaster. Restaurant just down the road, great breakfast and not expensive.
