Person checking us in was wonderful Place was a pit. Dirty. Felt very very unsafe. There a few sketchy guys walking around. Felt very creepy. Don’t stay here. Go across the freeway to a hotel on the opposite side of highway. We went to the comfort inn. It was great

Breakfast was pathetic. No juice. No tea. Dreary looking white bread with no other choice. Only 2 cold cereals. No hot food apparent, other than microwaved or slow miniature pancake machine at the neighboring Super 8. Property looked worn with no staff on the property that I saw (had to go next door to the Super 8). Room was fine. The price was right. Bathroom was small, but good and clean. Receptionist photocopied my enhanced ID, despite my objection and put it in an insecure place. This practice could facilitate identity theft and must stop. Check my ID only. This practice is game over for me.

Do not believe the good reviews for anything recent on here. I booked this in May and showed up in June for my 2-night stay. There was no one operating the hotel in their lobby. A handwritten sign on the door said to go to the Super 8 across the parking lot. Apparently, one owner owned both. Upon entering the Super 8, I found the only bright spots of this transaction, two young 20-somethings named Fatima and Ahmud (sp?). They were trying their best to manage two hotels completely by themselves. They were in way over their heads, but as I was made to manage a whole store by myself in a past work life, I understood that look. Ahmud said he didn't have a room for me at the Econo Lodge. I said I'd booked and paid over a month ago, but he said they still didn't have a room. Turns out, the housekeeper for the Econo Lodge never came in that day, and they had 22 dirty rooms and no clean linens or towels. The Super 8 had two cleaners that didn't stay for the full day, so eventually both Fatima and Ahmud left me alone in the Super 8 while they went over to the Econo Lodge to try to get a room cleaned for me. That was when I called the Quality Inn next door, which for double the price provided a vaguely better experience, two stars instead of one. And I usually let a lot of stuff go, but having two hotels run by two people that were in beyond where they should have been is ridiculous. Reading on some other sites, recent reviews hold about the same line as mine. I'd recommend a different part of Jamestown, as all three local places were very sub-par unless you like noise, dirt and mismanagement.

This Econo Lodge was very clean and the bed was very comfy. Staff was friendly too. Best of all...it was so quiet. No noise in the halls and no noisy road. Google Maps took us 15 miles north of town to a pond in a field! Apparently this has happened before, as the map ignores the S (south) in the street address. Econo Lodge is south of the interstate!

This motel is operated along with a Super 8 next to it. You need to check in at the Super 8 and also go to the Super 8 for breakfast. If price is your number one concern this is probably your best bet. The bathroom fan squealed so loud it could not be used. Back entrance door was unsecured. Room door was out of alignment.

The rooms are not very clean, the toilet had fesses in the bowl from the previous tended and when you flushed it it would go down and fill right back up with the same mess, could not get a hold of the person that worked at the front desk at all that night. I would definitely not recommend anyone staying here. Highly disappointed after reading the reviews thought it was going to be a good stay.

I'd stayed there several times in previous years and always had a refreshing, relaxing night. IThis time, in spite of a confirmed reservation and prepayment, the clerk told me the motel was fully booked and sent me across to the Super 8, where he came and checked me in. He asked me for my credit card to have on record "for incidentals". My room was fine, but several times people came and talked outside my room. After 9:00 P.M. the prolonged sound of metal being cut or grounded filled the air. Reviewing my crdeit card transactions a few days later I found that I'd been charged anew for the room I'd already prepaid through Choicehotels.com. At no time during the night had any guest entered or checked out of the Econolodge building. This stay was a complete reversal of all my previous stays and a real shock.

My family reserved two rooms for June 17, 2022 in April 2022. We paid in advance for these rooms. We we arrived on June 17, 2022, the lady told us they were all sold out. It did not matter that we had reserved two months in advance. In out group we had a5 year old, a 2 year old, and a six month old. Imagine getting to a place on a Friday night with three kids and being told they don’t have our rooms. And, the receptionist was not helpful—just said the were all sold out.

The room was clean and the bathroom was recently redone and done very well. Breakfast was light but OK. Rooms were noisy being so close to the highway intersection and you hear engine braking all the time. Pack earplugs
