Do not believe the good reviews for anything recent on here. I booked this in May and showed up in June for my 2-night stay. There was no one operating the hotel in their lobby. A handwritten sign on the door said to go to the Super 8 across the parking lot. Apparently, one owner owned both. Upon entering the Super 8, I found the only bright spots of this transaction, two young 20-somethings named Fatima and Ahmud (sp?). They were trying their best to manage two hotels completely by themselves. They were in way over their heads, but as I was made to manage a whole store by myself in a past work life, I understood that look. Ahmud said he didn't have a room for me at the Econo Lodge. I said I'd booked and paid over a month ago, but he said they still didn't have a room. Turns out, the housekeeper for the Econo Lodge never came in that day, and they had 22 dirty rooms and no clean linens or towels. The Super 8 had two cleaners that didn't stay for the full day, so eventually both Fatima and Ahmud left me alone in the Super 8 while they went over to the Econo Lodge to try to get a room cleaned for me. That was when I called the Quality Inn next door, which for double the price provided a vaguely better experience, two stars instead of one. And I usually let a lot of stuff go, but having two hotels run by two people that were in beyond where they should have been is ridiculous. Reading on some other sites, recent reviews hold about the same line as mine. I'd recommend a different part of Jamestown, as all three local places were very sub-par unless you like noise, dirt and mismanagement.
