Stayed at the Amani for 5 nights and had a delightful experience. Room #9 was lovely with a fairly private balcony, great view and ample living space. The service was very good, especially Robert at the restaurant. Breakfast buffets with made to order omelettes were good as was served dinners that included 2 starters, a choice of 3-4 entres and 2 desserts. Swahili grill and music social with all the guests on Wednesday evenings. Nice beach lounges in with shaded palapas and a couple. Ice spots to relax with a drink & view the ocean. The tidal changes totally change the look of the beach, revealing sand bars that you can walk to. We took a short beach stroll north to Paje and south to Jambiani for lunch. Also went to see monkeys in Jozani forest and a day trip to Mnemba island area to snorkel - nice coral, bountiful fish & crystal clear waters.

Wonderful small hotel with great rooms and lovely staff. Located on beach between Paje and Jambiani so we walked out for lunch and sundowners each day before returning to hotel for superb dinner
If you want a quiet and tranquil break away from the bustle of other areas on the island this is the perfect place for you. We had a couple of nights in Stonetown to compliment it
If we you do stay we can recommend lunch at the Rock restaurant up the coast. Wonderful experience and food. Hotel can arrange transport

We had a great stay in a very nice location. The hotel staff was very proactive and friendly to fulfill all our personal wishes. We also liked the food a lot. The pool is very nice to cool down on hot days. The hotel is directly located at the beach. All-in-all it was a truely outstanding guest experience.

Incroyable hôtel. Le service minutieux du personnel rend le séjour très agréable. On est prit en main par des professionnel. La vue et la plage ne sont pas mal, même si il y a quelques algues sur la plage et qu'on se fait très souvent accoster par des vendeurs, ce qui peut rendre la simple promenade ennuyante. L'atout principal de l'hôtel pour moi reste le chef cuisiner qui fait un excellent travail. Un grand merci à Robert pour avoir rendu ce séjour exceptionnel.. Il y a régulièrement des coupures de courant durant 10 a 30 secondes chaque jour. Rien d'alarmant. Les chambres sont toujours très propres et sont rangés 2 à 3 fois par jours. Chouette package honeymoon

What a truly amazing boutique hotel situated half way between Paje and Jambiani beaches so very peaceful. The management and staff treat you like kings and are so warm and friendly using your first names from the moment you arrive. The room we had was spacious and well appointed with a comfortable bed and mosquito net. WiFi available in the room too. What stands out is the food, the breakfast buffet is superb but the 4 course dinner offers such a variety of choices and especially good for vegetarians. Everything was high quality and cooked to perfection. The bar menu is also good with a great selection of cocktails. The spa offers a variety of different treatment that are great value too.

We had an amazing time at Amani in Zanzibar during our honeymoon. The food was excellent, and the staff was always incredibly helpful and friendly. A special thank you to Robert, the F&B manager, who was particularly attentive and made sure everything was perfect for us. This is by far the best hotel we've ever stayed at, and we will definitely return for more days of rest and tranquility.

Sehr idyllisches, ruhiges Hotel südlich von Paje. Toller weißer Strand. Extrem nettes und freundliches Personal. Sehr schöne Zimmer mit Klimaanlage. Sehr gutes Essen. Es gibt abends immer ein Viergängemenü mit reichlich Auswahlmöglichkeiten. Sehr häufig Meeresfrüchte oder Fisch. Auch vegetarische Optionen möglich. Alles in allem haben wir uns rund um wohl gefühlt .

We loved our 5 nights at this hotel! The hotel itself, the food, the beach, the pool were all very nice but the service and kindness of the staff were excellent! Robert and the rest of the Amani team provided exceptional customer service. We loved that the hotel is only 14 rooms with no children. We paid for the full board and were not disappointed! The food was great! We had a direct ocean view room and would recommend this to others booking; the view is fantastic! If you are going to Paje beach this is the best place to stay! Thanks again Robert for your hospitality!!
