Lugar con encanto. Mucha seguridad privada 24h y playa vigilada. Piscina muy limpia y grande con buenas vistas. Salida directa a la playa. Se puede ir caminando a Paje (45min) y a Jambiani (15 min). Habitaciones bien equipadas, limpias, con mosquitera y acogedoras. Si bien el comedor y la zona de restauración son muy bonitos, la atención de algunos camareros deja que desear (intentan rascar cualquier dólar extra engañándote en la cuenta). Hay que estar muy pendiente y revisar los tickets. La comida es buena y hay variedad. El desayuno es tipo buffet y acuden todo tipo de insectos a la comida y a los comensales (avispas, moscas, mosquitos…). Además por ahí también se pasean gatos que se llegan a subir a la mesa y revolotean cuervos que si pueden comen del plato. Para nosotras esta fue la única gran pega del alojamiento. Adjuntamos fotos

Nous avons passé une semaine formidable au Fun Beach Hôtel. Le cadre est idyllique : calme absolu et repos total. Les jardins sont magnifiques, très bien entretenus, et les trois piscines sont superbes. Notre bungalow se trouvait à seulement deux mètres de la piscine, avec nos transats attitrés juste devant : un vrai luxe ! Les chambres sont très propres, les repas variés et de qualité, et le personnel est vraiment aux petits soins, toujours souriant et attentif. La plage est agréable et paisible. Il faut attendre la marée haute pour s’y baigner, mais ce n’est absolument pas un problème tant l’ambiance est relaxante…… Et celà à un prix défiant toute concurrence. Une adresse à recommander sans hésiter, nous y reviendrons avec grand plaisir !

It was disappointing being discussing out check out time the whole 2 days. We had to leave 1 day before due to a flight change and it took many conversations to let them understand why we would after check out time but the day before of our end of stay. We had to discuss the issue with 6 different members of staff saying we had cancelled the last night. Finally we could solve everything thanks to jannet who was very nice and helpful in every moment. About the installations the toilets weren't clean. We didn't have shampoo on the shower. Breakfast was buffet, which was okey. Pool was very nice but just for the issue we didnt enjoy the place...

Na een super Safari nog even relaxen op Fun Beach wat echter en beetje tegen valt. We zijn woensdag aangekomen en maandag gaan ze dicht voor renovatie. Dit is achter te merken aan meerder dingen drankjes zijn op en worden niet meer aangevuld. Personeel is ook bezig met het klaar maken voor de renovatie.

Ces 8 dernières jours de notre périple devaient nous permettre de nous reposer, avant notre retour en France : c’est l’horreur ! Déjà 2 jours passés enfermée dans la chambre, sans manger car les tarifs sont exhorbitants. Il faut payer pour tout; l’hôtel est loin de tout. Je n’ai même pas vu la plage tellement je suis déçue. Mes souvenirs de Zanzibar : aucun ou plutôt, que du négatif ! Pas de réfrigérateur, pas de thé/café, pas de sèche-cheveux, le wifi qui coupe tout le temps… Quel regret d’avoir payé pour ça 🤮

The resort was good. Although the drive from the airport to the resort was almost 1 hour 15 minutes the place was amazing and beautiful pools and overlooking the beach. The breakfast was not so great and most of the items got over quickly. The dinner was Al Carte with good options. Service was good but the breakfast menu should be improved to meet the international dietary standards. Service as good from the font desk and restaurant staff.
