Un petit coin de paradis ! 🌴✨ Pour clôturer notre voyage de noces en beauté, le Zanzistar était le choix parfait. Un hôtel plein de charme, avec bar de plage et piscine, idéal pour se détendre. 🌊☀️ Le personnel est adorable, et les repas sont excellents. Un séjour inoubliable, une touche finale magique à notre aventure. ❤️ On recommande à 100 % ! 💯

We enjoyed our stay at Zanzistar, particularly the wonderful staff and the fabulous food. They are truly top notch!!! If you’re looking for a private spot on the beach, I suggest skipping the chambre de plage. It’s sandwiched between the beach bar and another building -very little breeze and of lot of foot traffic. Nonetheless, we loved our stay and the magic of the Jambiani vibe and the spectacularly dramatic tides!

Excellent hôtel, un accueil très bien organisé avec le sourire Les chambres sont très propres et grande avec WC, un lavabo et une grande douche Les repas très bonne qualité et bien servi. Le tout à la carte est servi à table. Il faut compter une vingtaine de minutes pour être servi.

The hotel was taken over by local kids every evening. Kids where bothering us and always asking for money. One day there was 30+ local kids in the hotel. They ran around and screamed all the time, throwing sand. The hotel staff did not care at all. Hotell room AC only worked in the night and only 2h max. Room was super hot. The location is good and hotel itself is good but the staff should care more about the hotel.

Cet hôtel est le plus sympa des lieux où nous avons séjourné à Zanzibar. On s'y sent bien immédiatement, les chambres sont décorées avec goût et très propres. Les différents lieux communs, restaurant, piscine, beach bar sont très sympas et l'équipe est au Top ! Vraiment je n'ai qu'une chose à dire, si vous allez à Zanzibar, allez à Jambiani au Zanzistar ! Vous reviendrez comme nous heureux d'avoir eu la chance d'y vivre une parenthèse de bonheur absolu. Merci à Peter et à son équipe. Virginie et Nicolas

I had assumed incorrectly that Zanzistar was on the beach, so when I arrived, I was really disappointed. I felt claustrophobic in the garden which is surrounded on all sides by high fences. The beach bar which is a 5-minute walk away was underwhelming and there were lots of people smoking. Unless you lay in the front row, in the sun, you couldnt really enjoy the sea view. Unlike the photos, our room was very dark and it was impossible not to bring sand into the room without a deck/patio by the door. We only stayed 1 of the 4 nights and cur our losses and stayed elsewhere. On a positive note, Peter, the manager is a great guy and the Kingfish curry was delicious. Sorry to be a naysayer but on Zanzibar, I didn't want to be hemmed in.
