Cuando hice la reservación de la habitación no me indicaron que había con clima y con ventilador. A lo mejor estaba muy lleno el hotel y me toco una con ventilador. Fuimos tres personas y con dos ventiladores no fue suficiente para pasar una noche agradable. La limpieza esta bien. Los insumos en la habitación son escasos. Un papel de baño, un jaboncito, sin agua en la jarra, con cafetera pero sin insumos. Si llevan carro hay estacionamiento pero es pequeño. La atención en recepción es buena pero nada que elogiar.

This is a charming, well-kept, quiet hotel on a small road in the heart of Xalapa's historic center. There is a pretty central courtyard with tables, chairs and beautiful semi-tropical landscaping. Room 111 is exceptionally pleasant: it has a terrace of its own, with a table and two chairs, its privacy provided by large potted shrubs. The Room is actually a suite, with a living room, a small kitchen, a separate bedroom and a spacious bath room. The air conditioning works wonderfully and is totally silent. You can walk to all the cafes, restaurants, the main park (Parque Juarez) where there is always something fun going on.

A peaceful night's sleep in a nice, clean room with a very comfortable (subjective, I know) bed. Easy walking distance to the town centre. The staff were friendly, welcoming, and very patient with my lack of Spanish. They were also extremely helpful with directions to places of interest, on a map they provided gratis. They also booked my taxis for me. If I could change one thing, it would be switching out the coffee maker for a kettle. This is probably sacrilege to most people travelling in Mexico, but I don't drink coffee. A kettle would have been nice for brewing up a good cup of Yorkshire Tea. Yorkshire Tea in Mexico, I hear you ask. I brought my own. I never go anywhere without it.

From the street entrance, you have no idea of the lush greenery, flower pots, azulejos, and decorative tables and chairs that make the Posada so pretty. The rooms are plain, but the bathroom in my room was new. In Dec., Xalapa was cold and rainy; the Posada provides room heaters on request. The Posada is located on a long, very steep street, about 3 blocks away from the main restaurants, public transportation, etc.

Las almohadas son las mas mullidas en las que jamas haya dormido... Muy bonito hotel y muy tranquilo, nos hostedamos en grupito de 18 personas y quedamos enamorados del hotel, tarifa no muy elevada no incluye el desayuno pero por $150 pesos mas nos lo incluyeron, tomamos un rico y calientito desayuno. No ofrecen ni dan comprobante o ticket para comprobar gastos es lo unico malo y deberian mencionarlo antes. Si volveria viajar a Xalapa es muy lindo y su clima es perfecto.

Buena ubicacion se encuentra cerca del centro, rustico con habitaciones bonitas, el desayuno muy sabroso, aunque no esta incluido en la tarifa vale la pena pagarlo. MI hora de llegada fue a las 14:30 hrs, lo unico que no me gusto deberia ver el encardago un poco mas de apoyo al personal con algun espacio de apoyo ya que al parecer la srita. recepcionista tenia dormido a su hermano o hijo en recepcion, de todo lo demas si regresaria.

El estilo del hotel es tradicional, rústico, tranquilo, y con un diseño muy agradable. Nos hospedamos en una suite con una cama matrimonial, una individual y un sofá cama, a los niños les gustó mucho, pues tenían espacio suficiente. La vista de nuestra habitación daba a un hermoso jardín por un lado, y hacia la calle de Cánovas por el otro. Los precios son accesibles, y tiene una excelente ubicación pues llegas caminando en 5 minutos al centro. Algo de agradecer fueron las facilidades que tuvimos en la habitación: una cafetera con azúcar y café que todos los días surtían, un frigobar, una parrilla eléctrica y un comedor por si quieres prepararte algo y comer dentro de tu habitación. En nuestro hospedaje se incluía un desayuno sabroso y llenador, con opciones que no agotamos en 5 días.

A basic but charming hotel. Traditional and lacking many modern creature comforts but I felt very much at home. Peaceful calm inner courtyard with tables beneath blooming bougenvilla and queen palms. A hearty breakfast was included which included fresh fruits and juice, traditional egg dishes MD plenty of coffee.
