In a word, “incredible.” When you first arrive, you’re met by an awe-inspiring entrance. It’s not a hotel - it feels like a palace. You’re met by a welcoming group (ours was headed by Shayam) who bestows garlands while rose petals are showered on you from above. Shayam explained how portions of the interior lobby were 300 year old sandstone facades with filigree from older historical homes, while the beautiful interior paintings were all done by hand by local artisans. Truly stunning work with such vibrant colors. After being welcomed, we were escorted to our rooms, which were really nicely appointed. Each has AC and fans and one of the most comfortable beds I’ve slept in the housekeeping staff are so nice, so considerate, and so professional that you really do feel like royalty. We were lucky enough to be taken care of by Ranjit and Rohit. They were only ever a moment away and their presence was felt, but not in any way overt or intrusive. They were so motivated to see you enjoy your stay and be comfortable that you just felt special. Anything you needed, they were always one step ahead. The rooms were pristine. Food service was stellar. Khojaram and Paritosh worked so incredibly hard to make sure we were all happy. They immediately learned our preferences and offered suggestions on things we might also enjoy. They were there at each meal. Each meal. They work so hard and did such a great job. The dinners in particular were great. We chose to eat outside at the interior courtyard and it was so nice. Wonderful food and ambiance. We just kept remarking at how beautiful the hotel is and how incredible the service is. The whole team really, really excels. It’s going to be hard staying at other hotels after this experience because this really set the bar and spoiled us to such a degree that the others will all be compared against this standard. 11/10 this hotel goes one higher.
