We did not feel taken care of at this place. After we confirmed our booking, the management did not respond to our inquiry (sent through the booking app) about how to reach their property (recommended transportation method and cost). This information would have helped us, as first-time visitors to a city should be aware of the best way to reach their accommodation and the appropriate price to pay for it (and Google does not always provide the most accurate info). Next, when we checked in, we needed to buy some drinking water and take it up to our room. However, the person working at the reception desk said he would send it up to our room. 20 minutes later, the water hadn’t arrived, and we had to go back downstairs and buy it / take it up to our room (as we’d originally wanted). It seems the staff member had forgotten about our request, because he gave no indication of remembering it when I asked for it a second time. The staff need to understand that providing drinking water promptly when requested is important, especially in the warmer months when dehydration is a risk. Also, that good customer service includes taking a few minutes of their time to provide info to paying guests that will help them safely navigate to their property. On the plus side, the hotel is nicely designed. However, this is not enough to make us repeat customers.
