The best impression we had was the ever pleasent smiles of the staff and so willing to help. The owners , Mr and Mrs Sangaran went out of their way to take care of us. I have experienced such genuine warmth only at a few places in Sri Lanka. Manager Mr Thilak was also at hand to get our travel arrangements sorted out. Initially I contacted Jenny who always had a smile to help. Breakfast was fantastic. The water pressure in toilet including shower was exceptional. I was told that they even purify water to remove any saltiness. Rooms were clean and linen was clean too. I think Subash retains an iconic heritage in Jaffna and I feel they should make it more visible. Thank you to all until we see you again !! 🙏

Surrounding was dirty, lot of mosquitoes,asked the front desk to spray our room which they did. The front desk spoke a little English. It’s very difficult to communicate with them . Be prepared to bring your own toiletries. I won’t be back . All pictures shown in the ******* were deceiving. What you see in the pictures were wrong.
