Hotels with Jacuzzi in Koh Chang

"Nice room and decent hotel. Breakfast looks better than it tastes. The warm daily dishes are disappointing and there is absence of good Thai food. The bread, deli meat, cheeses, bread and salad choices are fine. Eggs and waffles are made to order and they are fine. Restaurant is not air conditioned and has small fans which add very little ventilation. Had issues twice with air conditioning and tub. Maid kept room very clean and made towels into pretty shapes along with flowers on bed. Made mistake of coming in May and it was miserably hot and most chairs are not shielded from the sun. The beach although beautiful is very narrow and filled with large rocks and coral so not good for walking or swimming. Had to walk down beach to find a better beach area but it lacked shade. If you can get the room without the 300 baht each normal charge I would suggest it. We had one day nearby in a cheaper hotel because we arrived late. Problem we had in May is there very few breakfast choices near either hotel. Very few street food vendors and mainly overpriced western food. Took several days to find good Thai food. I would recommend Koh Kood if you are alone. Better beaches and cheaper foods"

"This is a good 3-star hotel. The rooms are a bit run-down and need renovation, but it's clearly underway, with some rooms and areas already being worked on. Housekeeping was done almost every day (only missed a couple of times during our 12-night stay), but the cleaning itself was about a 4 out of 5; the wet cleaning could be done more often. On the first day, we were given a room on the 3rd floor of the main building, as requested. We were also pleasantly surprised with a wedding anniversary greeting. The balcony with a sea view was fantastic! However, the door to the balcony was translucent and faced almost directly onto a busy road. We ended up tracking traffic all night. The next day, they moved us to an inner building without any fuss. This room was pretty decent too, but construction workers started laying tiles outside our window at 8 AM… 😄. The room was a bit tired, and the air conditioning was noisy at night, but for the price, I think it was pretty good value. A new bar opened on Dec 22nd, but on Dec 23rd, our mood was soured when they tried to charge hotel guests 1000 baht. They eventually resolved the incident and apologized, but the situation with this new bar and pool remained a bit tense. Overall, it was a good stay."

"The position is given 5 points: it is in the middle of the white sand beach. If you choose a sea view room, the door opens to the beach. 20 meters into the beach in front of me, there are no small rocks or reefs, all of which are fine sand. Hotel facilities give 3 points: a very old hotel. All facilities are 10 years ago, domestic 2 star standard, the family room is a diagonal room on the back of the mountain across the road. There is no sea view at all. Downstairs is the most smelly drainage ditch in the entire white beach. After staying for 15 days, I changed 3 hotels and walked all over the white beach. Breakfast is given 3 points: the most common level, in line with the most basic requirements of foreigners. There are eggs, bread, butter, coffee, 4 Thai dishes that are not fixed every day, 2 kinds of fruits, watermelon. Don't expect too much, eat 4 days to be unlovable. Room type: I live in a family room of 60 square meters. There are two single beds and one double bed. Four adults have no problem sleeping at all. Price: Because it is 1002 a room during the Spring Festival. The family room is 200 more expensive than the sea view spa resort I booked later. The latter definitely has a 4-star standard. At the same time, there are private beaches, islands, and cable cars. The previous hotel I stayed at ”Banpu” was more cost-effective than him. Service; the front desk brother is very enthusiastic. Good English. No one in the hotel understands Chinese. By the way, I lived in Koh Chang for half a month. Only the Russian foreman in the Grand Spa can speak Chinese, English and Russian. No other hotel can speak Chinese at all. English is pretty good. Wifi signal: All are small routers. The signal is gone after a few steps. There is only the signal from the breakfast room downstairs. No other signals. The overall signal on Koh Chang is not good. It is incomparable to Bangkok and Pattaya."
