It’s okay, the main feature is that it’s cheap!

The service attitude is good, but the room equipment is poor, the sewer problem, the door lock problem, change three rooms in a row to avoid staying overnight, not recommended

good clean hotel for quick overnight stay for a  concert in downtown Jacksonville.  Although the hotel was in an unattractive part of town & the hotel a little dated, the bed was very comfortable, the room clean,easy check in, typical good best western breakfast. overall  just what we needed.

I know it is a “cheap” BestWestern. But for $95, I expected slightly MORE! Check-in was fine. Room? Much less so! Old worn out second hand furniture, cabinet handles rusty. Phone loading station not working. We could only close bathroom door with brute force. Damages to wall. Don’t start me on the breakfast! Advertised HOT BREAKFAST! The only hot item was Waffles (if you made them yourself). No staff anywhere. Bacon/sausage and egg buffet tray empty. No fresh fruit, bowls empty. We suspected that creamer in Nestle bottles was not original product either. In future, I rather pay $20 more and stay at SpringHill Suites!

The SureStay by Best Western Jacksonville South is in bad disrepair condition with leaking bathtub, loose corroded pipes, patches around the toilet, old furniture.   The desktop computer on the lobby is only for decoration, not available for guests.  The sign on the front desk has a telephone number to call for service if nobody is available, but when I called nobody answered and a voice says that this number doesn't accept messages.   The hotel advertises full breakfast, but during my one week stay only on one day there were scrambled eggs available.  For the rest of my stay there were only muffins, bagels, yogurt, two choices of serial, but on two occasions no milk was available and waffles.  The only positive about this place was room service.  The ladies were very friendly and were doing their best.
