The breakfast was great and the service was nice. Front desk ran my card twice but other than that it was all good. Location was also good. Wish the rooms had carpet but then you are at the beach so. The rooms and bathrooms could have been cleaner!

Terrible experience. The room had cockroaches. Called the front desk to address it and they refused to offer any help or resolution. Front desk was very dismissive and asked me to take care of it. Many of my co-workers who have stayed here have reported the same issue. I did the visit survey and complained. Requested to hear back from Holiday Inn about my experience - never received a call or e-mail. Do not stay here!

Requested a true ADA toom with walk in shower due to my disability. I got an ADA compliant room with a tub and shower chair. Not what I requested, however, I attempted to use the shower chair but could not use for safety reasons. Two of the legs did not have a rubber stopper and the chair did not fit safely in the tub. I went to the front desk and asked if they could transfer me to a room with walk in shower and Paul made an attempt but could not find the room immediately. He said to give him time so I began walking away and he got upset at me. He expected me to stay at the counter and wait for him to find me a room and began hollaring at me. Feeling humiliated, I walked away, and of course the yelling did not stop. I ate breakfast and returned and asked if I needed to stand there in order for him to find me a safe room and he kept saying how all I do is walk away but I did not need to be there. When I left again, he started yelling again, brow- beating me like a child, treating me with full disrespect. Paul has a habit of cutting people off mid sentence and insulting them. I am still waiting an hour later for Paul to call. Looks like I will be making a third trip to the front desk. After this trip I will not return to this hotel.

Room was fine, bed comfortable. I checked in at 3pm and went to meetings in Atlantic Beach. Returned at 8pm and could not get into my room. The desk clerk tried every key, demagnetized my keys, no luck. I sat in the lobby while many guests were trying to check in but since the desk clerk was working alone and trying to open my door, guests had to wait. She called maintenance but he/she never returned to the hotel. The elevator got stuck on the second floor, inconveniencing all the new arrivals with luggage. Finally the clerk found a pass key that worked and I got into my room at 9:30pm. I did not make it to breakfast since serving was stopped at 9:30 and that was too early, esp for guests who are on holiday. The day desk clerk was unaware of the elevator problem and could not reassure me that it was fixed so I walked down two flights with my suitcase. I emailed the general manager yesterday but have not heard a word from him. This HolInnExp will not see me again and I visit this area frequently.

As many Holiday Inn Express Hotels, but a little bit under par. The pillows were not the usual selection of one soft and one firm per side. The jusice was watery, There was no tv in the sitting area of the "suite". The towels were large but just two bath towels. It wasn't bad, just not quite up to the usual level for the chain.

First and foremost: The lady that checked us in was amazing. Her name was Grace. So friendly and helpful. I sure wish more hotels had employees like Grace. The hotel was very nice overall. Neat and tidy, clean, modern. The breakfast was good. Really enjoyed the fact that they had the heart healthy breakfast option with egg white omelettes and turkey sausage and kept everything well stocked and fresh. Our room was clean and comfortable. The water pressure in the shower was Great! Two little things that kept me from giving a perfect score: 1. A lack of easily accessible electric outlets near the head of the bed on each side; one for CPAP and one for phone. It worked out by pulling the mattress back a little to reach the wall outlet. The lamp only had one place to plug into. 2. The only milk available for breakfast was in gallon containers. I would prefer the small cartons rather than finding room to set things down to pour milk in the line of people. Overall though, I highly recommend this property!!!

I had to have emergency surgery 2 days prior to the reservation. We contacted ********** which is where we booked the room. They contacted the manager Neil. He told us all we needed to do is provide proof of surgery and the cancellation fee would be waived. We did that and the never heard from him again. He refused to answer my wife's emails and refused to answer ********** when they reached out 3 different times. I get not refunding it, but when you tell us you would then just don't bother with following through, that is the issue.

We stayed here for 2 nights due to my husband's visit to Baptist MD Anderson and it was above our expectations. It was super clean, the breakfast had everything you can imagine, and is super close to the beach. The only disappointment was that we were not able to swim in the outdoor pool because the water was too cold. We will definitely stay here again.

Very noisy guests and lots of dogs. Location is in a quiet area and the room was clean. but the walls are paper thin and it was a long three nights with birthday party next door and nonstop running up and down halls every night. Will not stay again.
