Absolutely horrible place. Like all residences seem to be now. Room had a horrible musty odor. Hundreds of Cigarettes by the basketball court. Pool was absolutely trashed inside the pool and around it. Ceiling in shower was collapsing. Never stay here again.

I can't say enough about this pretty, cozy, unique layout of a hotel. I have particularly warm memories as ALL STAFF welcomed me post-Hurricane and made me feel safe and at home. Separate buildings are precious as they reflect a strong sense of community with a Central Park area consisting of a pool, jacuzzi, pavillion with benches, grill, along with a Basketball/Volleyball/Pot Pourri play area. Often, I just hang out there and have spontaneous conversation and interaction with other guests, leaving me with the feeling of being on a college campus, meeting new acquaintances. Staff particularly well experienced and responsive to any request. Rarely do I find a hotel where I am comfortable and pleased to spend all day and longer just relaxing on grounds, in the spacious hotel room, or walking to the Public Library next door. Had to change room three times because of inadequate amenities Five tops and no pots, and pans to go with them, no glassware or cutlery, etc. and other issues. On arrival, the only person at the desk was the front desk manager. She definitely needs a course in Customer interaction. Learn to be friendly and at least appear to be interested in a customer concerns. The next day, the ladies at the front desk were completely different. The hotel is showing obvious signs of wear and tear from when we stayed there before. It is very disappointing to see a property we liked deteriorate like this. It is way below Marriott standards. I gave it two stars because the breakfast was good and the ladies who were working at breakfast were wonderful as was the front desk, with the exception of the front desk manager

Recently my team (made up of 20 18-21 year old young men, 4 coaches and myself) traveled to Jacksonville for a football game. Not only was Rachel super helpful and friendly over the phone when I need a last minute reservation for a large group, but the front desk was super accommodating, the breakfast server was an absolute gem! The rooms were clean and smelled good, had all the needed amenities. Rachel even upgraded the rooms to 2 bedroom suites at no additional charge! I would definitely stay there again!

Alicia at the front desk was extremely accommodating and explained all of the amenities to myself and another guest. The desk was busy with in person guests and phones and she managed to remain friendly with a smile! I loved the pool area. It was nice to be on business and be able to sit out at a nice pool and relax after work. I was only there for one evening but this would be a great hotel to have extended stay.

Alicia at the front desk was super nice and really helped me and my family have a great experience at the Residence Inn Deerwood! She delivered great customer service with a smile. The entire staff made sure we were comfortable and they made us feel very welcomed. We will for sure be back!

In my opinion I believe everything starts with the right team and the management team at this property I'd awesome. Tricia and Alicia both are patient and helpful staff members here. I've had the opportunity to stay at this property a few different times in 2024 and both ladies customer services experience was always Top Tier. Rooms are clean - Breakfast Spread Great and the location is 2 mins from Town Center which has every restaurant you can name. Highly recommended

All around great place to stay ! Staff is super friendly and helpful, rooms clean and furnished nicely . Conveniently located near town center for shopping and food. Would definitely recommend this place for a short getaway or a long term stay !
