Tru by Hilton Jacksonville West I 295

Nice property, clean and colorful. Large lobby with plenty of nooks and sitting area. Room well appointed with all amenities. Beds and pillows super comfy. Free 24hrs coffee in lobby. Nice gym. Water fountain to fill your water bottle, mini mart in lobby, pool table. Cute info board in front of tje elevators with things to do and see. Breakfast was nice except ran out of boiled eggs and pancake machine was out of order. But they had fresh fruits. Would recommend this property.

Horrible customer service. I am senior and I was very disappointed. making me rethink my loyalty program with Hilton. I was very ill and needed to move my reservation to another Tru hotel in jacksonville, I had to cancel and rebook. some concern would have been appreciated.

Everything was very nice. just would have wanted a microwave in my room instead of having to go to the lobby to warm my food.

If it wasn’t for the staff, I would’ve given this hotel a 1 star review. The property itself is well maintained, but other than a gas station next door, there’s no places to eat within walking distance. The staff were very friendly and nice, but sadly that’s the only positive thing I have about my stay. The bed was extremely hard and uncomfortable, as it felt like I was lying on a metal slab the whole time. My pillows smelled like ****, so I ended up using a towel for a pillow. The water pressure in the shower wasn’t strong enough, nor did the water get hot enough for me either. The TV didn’t have many channels to choose from, and the ice machine on my floor was broken too. I’m glad my stay was only for one night, as I would’ve cancelled the remaining of my stay. Spend the extra bucks for a better hotel, and don’t be cheap like me.

I liked that the area was not busy.

Traveling with two young kids and wanted something clean and easy. Checked in late at night and it was super easy and they were very nice at the desk. Room was very clean. Woke up the next morning to breakfast and again the staff was very nice.
