Knights Inn Woodstock

We were very pleased with everything, Me Siddh the owner was very friendly and he accepted payment with debit card with a minimum deposit which was really handy since I did not gave my credit card with me. Clean, fair priced and friendly owner!

I wanted to find something good about this place as the person who checked us in was very nice, but despite obvious attempts at updating things, it still has a long way to go to be worth what they were charging. The heat was not on despite us having reservations and our poor elderly guests were freezing until it warmed up. The bathrooms were 5’.6 x 5.6” including the tub. The sink was in the bedroom. Such an odd set up with the bathroom and sink dividing the room with a bed on either side. The furnace was about 2 feet beside one of the beds and was very loud. We had to turn it off and open bathroom door to use the heater from it. The beds were clean, but not comfortable (this may have been a preference thing) The paint was peeling in the bathroom and the shower curtain was discoloured. It needs a really good deep clean and some cosmetic updates to be as nice as the lady running it.

Good budget room The room was great, good size, and beds comfortable. The heat was turned off in the room when we arrived, so it was just a little cold. We had to find the room control to turn it on.

If body odor, used crusty face cloths, unchanged sheets, and stained linen is what you like then the Knights Inn is the place for you. This was the worst hotel experience I've had in many years of travelling. To begin, when our group showed up we were greeted by a 5-7 yr old boy in the lobby. The ladies asked where his parents were, and the boy searched yelling for his father. After 5 minutes of searching, the owner was located sleeping under the counter of the front desk. When I opened the door to my room and smelled the stench, I immediately did a Bed Bug check. When I pulled back the sheets there were several black curly hairs in the sheets and the impression of a body in the bed. THESE SHEETS WERE NOT CHANGED! There was also crumbs and popcorn on the floor in the carpet and the room was overall filthy and stunk. I was staying with a group and some of the other things observed in their rooms were crumbs still on the table from the previous occupants, stains on the bedding and sheets, a vape pen was found under the bed, crumbs and dirt in the carpet, and last but not least, a "crusty" face cloth on the floor by the bed! We decided these rooms were not fit to stay in and went to see the owner. He was incredibly rude and refused to reimburse us for the rooms. He offered me another room, but I was not interested considering what we saw in the other rooms, and I had 4 teenagers with me as I was one of 4 drivers for a hockey team and couldn’t stay if everyone else was leaving. This is a nightmare of a Hotel. DO NOT STAY HERE! I would have given it zero stars if there was an option to do so.
