Best Western Jacksonville Inn

Our guest relations person Jenny was amazing with my special person!!!! She talked to her like a normal human being, no staring at our peeps it was a great experience

Our first stay at this hotel, and we didn’t even get to stay in. My wife and I were trying to have a fun couple of days with our Nephew and his mom. And we weren’t even allowed to check in. Because I was not present. Even though my wife is on my Best Western account. That’s not even the worst part. Even after we called Best western customer support, and the agent told them thaty wife was in fact an authorized user on my account and could check in. They still refused. The lady at the front desk( she refused to give her name AND claimed to be the manager) acted extremely poorly towards my wife. Even going so far as to assume that we were separated and she stole my bank card. And therefore refused to check her in. Even with myself on the phone. The manager on duty then was requested, and they also denied allowing us to check in. Further stating “ How do we know that is really your husband on the other line” I read the reviews after this experience and have come to the conclusion that the desk clerk is likely the same person who was rather rude to other patrons of this hotel. We asked for the owners information or a way to contact them. And they refused to give any way of contact. I was not asking for the owners personal contact details but I assure you they have a means to field customer complaints. But we were denied that. The deck clerk was even so bold to say, I’m the manager, that’s the best you’re going to get. The assistant who was on them phone with the “boss” (see two can play that game) refused to give their name as well. All I want is to be contacted by the owner. This was absolutely unacceptable. And obviously this desk clerk is a serious problem. I’ve been manager in large 4+ hotels in the past. If even one of our employees did half of what I’ve seen posted about in this review chain, they would’ve been terminated with prejudice after the first incident. Pretty pathetic.

Breakfast was cheap and not much choice. The woman at the front desk accused my kids of veing vandals and when comfronted for the video evidence she admitted she was wrong.
