Hampton Inn & Suites Jackson

I booked only two days in advance due to a family emergency. They were booked with a group so charged several hundred dollars for a regular room. In spite of that, place is a bit rundown. Shades broken, tv very old, bathroom moldy. I feel very ripped off.

The room was clean and smelled lovely, the breakfast was great (the potatoes especially were done very well!), and the staff was very personable and friendly (Especially Chris)! I’ve stayed in “fancier” hotels that weren’t nearly as nice.

While it is a typical Hampton, i.e., clean and modern, this was really overpriced. As a comparison, I stayed at the Hampton Inn in Russellville, AR on my way home and it was less than half what the Jackson Hampton charged me! And Russellville had a better breakfast by far! With my rewards discount, the room was well over $200!!! That’s crazy.

Nice property. Conveniently located near interstate. Clean modern rooms and amenities. Good breakfast. Friendly and professional staff. Very accommodating for pets. Easy access (driving) to restaurants and other activities. Representative of Hilton standards.

Our hotel room bathroom had many areas of MOLD on the shower tile grout. GROSS!!!!! How was this overlooked? Management: Please check your rooms!! Ants were crawling on the bathroom counter! During our check out in the morning, the receptionist never asked us how our stay was. We love Hampton Inn, but will never stay at this site again.

We had a graduation weekend nearby and just needed a place to stay for one night. We always choose a Hilton hotel so this was it in the area. The exit is desolate around this hotel but less than 5 minutes down I40 is a main Jackson exit with all kinds of dining and amenities. Turn right out of the hotel and you are quickly into ‘old’ downtown Jackson with some cute shops/coffeehouses and etc. This Hampton itself is a much older property than I am used to seeing these days, but it was clean and comfortable for my family. Our door was kind of stuck and you had to pull real hard to get it open and our blinds had what appeared to be a cigarette burn in them. There was also a faint ‘old’ smell (almost like old cigarette smell?) in the hallway as well. But all in all this is being pretty picky. It was fine. The breakfast area was completely slammed on Saturday morning as a baseball team and their families had taken over the area. Kudos to the staff who worked hard to keep the food re-stocked and cleaned the tables so that there was room for others as space became available. All in all, this is a fine stay for passers thru!

My wife and I needed a place for two nights and since we know about Hampton Inn, we decided to come here in search of a room. We were told that there was no vacancy. What a shock to us after just driving down from Baltimore after two full days of driving and dropping off my sister-in-law in Jackson. At the front desk were two very nice ladies who went out of their way to call different hotels near by. They spent, it seemed nearly a half an hour trying to find us a place, any place that was clean and not to far away. A place was found, which was very close to where we were visiting. This hotel/room turned out to be perfect for our requirements in every way. Although we did not stay at this Hampton Inn, we just wanted to thank a million times the time and effort and energy put into finding us a place. The search by the front desk was Tuesday evening March 22 I believe. Again many thanks to the front desk for helping us! We love Hampton Inn and have stayed at others over the years.

Rooms were clean and spacious. Breakfast was great and the attendants were working hard and kept it fully stocked. Erica was working the front desk when we checked in at 10:30 pm and she was fantastic! Great attitude and very efficient! Would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone!

The hotel has no cameras several cars have been broken into, the G.M. Stronda, will not get the 9 additional landscaping lights , she said she will get two a month, that way she doesn't go over budget, she can get her bonus. She doesn't care vehicles are broken into. She is ****** against white male people.
